He sounds almost like Manny at that point in his career (career 0.3 points/ game, strong 3rd line center with face-off and defensive abilities, though not physical), plus he plays captain for Germany and MG likes leaders on the team. He can also put up points in the playoffs (5 points in 7 games last playoffs) and he does all this at a bargain $1.7M. Then (for the nerds out there) there's this article.
