LostViking Posted May 19, 2013 Share Posted May 19, 2013 Post #58 has it right. this is what I posted on FB the other day to help my mates: Canucks can draft 22nd, 23rd or 24th If Pittsburgh and Chicago make it to round 3, only four division winners were eliminated in rounds 1 or 2, these teams pick directly before the 27-30 picks, so the four division winners would draft 23-26, in this order: Washington (23), Vancouver (24), Montreal (25), Anaheim (26). If one of Pittsburgh or Chicago get eliminated in round 2, that makes five division winners eliminated in rounds 1 or 2, these teams pick directly before the 27-30 picks, so the five division winners would draft 22-26, in this order: Washington (22), Vancouver (23), Montreal (24), Anaheim (25), Chicago or Pittsburgh (26). If both Pittsburgh and Chicago get eliminated in round 2, that makes six division winners eliminated in rounds 1 or 2, these teams pick directly before the 27-30 picks, so the six division winners would draft 21-26, in this order: Washington (21), Vancouver (22), Montreal (23), Anaheim (24), Pittsburgh (25), Chicago (26).
