    1.5 receivers*

2 kick returners don't count as full receivers

I mean..... they're dressed as wide receivers and line up as wide receivers so technically they're wide receivers?

Minnesota really screwed up that last play before half time.

Everyone was expecting a quick spike but no idea what the OC and Cousins were thinking? Spiking the clock would have given them two plays instead of the FG that they decided to take because of lack of clock awareness.

  3. If this was a way to help Patricia out and get his first win of his HC career, then so be it. Team looked completely flat today. Offence, much like last week, couldn't get anything going. Obviously it's still early in the season but with more time/practice and with Edelman back two weeks from now, things should open up and smooth itself out.

Wow. Mahomes II is the real deal. Chased out of the pocket, stumbles a bit being chased by the defence. Then has the presence to pass a TD.

Once he learns a little bit more of timing on his throws (he overthrows a bit), that is scary this kid is going to get better!

I think its cuz of the power of his arm. Needs to learn to control it a bit and have better accuracy because with a powerful arm like that, he can just zip it into tight catch windows and not have to lead the receiver as much.

  5. The Browns looked energized when Baker took the field. I don't think it's anything to do with Taylor but more or less the entire Browns offence wanted the kid to be successful and played their hearts out. Once they saw what Baker could do, they gave it their all.

Carroll also said he didn't want to give Tom Brady time to march down the field and score a TD. He should have just trusted his D. It was extremely unlikely Brady would have marched down the field in 40s. This is what Carroll should be ragged on for. He just didn't trust his D.

At that point the clock was ticking on 2nd down with less than 30 seconds to play. If they had ran the ball again with Lynch at the 1 yard line and got stopped, Seattle could call a timeout and stop the clock at around 22 seconds. Then Seattle would either try again on 3rd down and quickly get up for one last snap on 4th down if stopped, or try for a pass play for a TD or incomplete to stop the clock again on 3rd down and then take your best play on 4th down with the clock stopped for a TD attempt. At that point, let's say Seattle did score a touchdown on 3rd or 4th down, there would have only been roughly 10-15 seconds left in the game, leaving only one chance for a hail mary with roughly 7-10 seconds left depending on the kickoff.

    Yikes!

I feel like coaches get intimidated by the Patriots and make nervous plays. Here Seattle management overthought the situation (they think we're gonna run, so we're gonna try to outthink the Pats and score), and the Falcons did something similar when they called a passing play that led to a sack to take them out of field goal range (which could have sealed the game). That's how you know the Pats are a dynasty; the other teams get nervous and do things out of character.

If you watched the short film "Do Your Job" NFL Films did after SB49, Belichick talked about what he was thinking at that moment and after rewatching the game again at that time, it's just impressive that Belichick was able to make that decision with the Super Bowl on the line..

Who cares who it was that made the call.....despite what the article says, it was a stupid call. If you're worried about the clock, you have Beast Mode plow into the line one more time and in the extremely unlikely scenario that he's unsuccessful, you spike the ball to stop the clock and then decide what you want to do on 4th down. (IMO, you give it to Lynch again)

I understand how Pats fans would want to make this less about a bad play call and more about how "deserving" New England was, but it was a brutal play call, no matter who made it.

Why spike the ball when you can call a timeout? Seahawks still had one timeout remaining

I was actually watching the condensed version of that super bowl and the play before that Lynch runs the ball and I didn't realize how close he was to getting in. He just got tripped up but couldn't keep his balance to cross the goal line.

It was wide open. Had Hightower not have been there to make that play, it was an easy TD.

It's a bit of both. There's always missions queued up, but there's lots of roaming missions as you swing through the city. Mixed with things like challenges and collectibles along the way. Honestly it's just a great game. Looking forward to the upcoming 3 DLC in city that never sleeps season pass.

Nice. Sounds like something similar to GTA 5 then.

I've had it since release and I love it. Being a huge Spider-Man fan I knew I'd love it. But the gameplay is unreal, swinging through the city is the best part, I haven't fast travelled once. The main story is well written and stays true to the comics while also being original in a really weird way. I'd highly recommend it.

Is gameplay/roaming similar to GTA 5 where missions will come up every now and then and you're allowed to explore the world? Or is it mission after mission after mission and then game complete?

I'll call that a good loss. Same record after 2 weeks as the last 2 seasons.

Didn't put too much of the playbook on film and got a feel for what it's like playing the #1 defense.

Very clear we need Jules back and for Flowers & Chung to get healthy.

D couldn't get off the field when it mattered. Drives kept getting extended when blown coverage or poor awareness of where Bortles was to allow him to run the yardage needed for first downs. Offence looked a bit off and not in sync. Also, Burkhead pretty much didn't play. Although Michel looked pretty good out there against a #1 D so I'm really happy about that

Why is Bills vs Chargers on CTV over Bucs vs Eagles or something else?

Josh Allen really gonna beat the Chargers?

If it's on the main CTV channel, then it covers all the "Bills" fans out east in the GTA.

I think Gruden is a very smart football man. I do not see the you guys or the Bears as playoff teams this season. That means draft capital in the top 15 which is so valuable. I think he will build a winner in Oakland, I mean you have the most important thing you need to win, a QB.

You mean Las Vegas right. By the time the Raiders have a playoff team, they'll already be in Las Vegas.

  15. Anyone played the new Spiderman game yet? Lots of hype about how the game is extremely good and fun to play and saw some people ranking it as one of their top games of the year, potentially #1 if it wasn't for GoW.

I'm gonna wait till Black Friday to see if the game drops to a more reasonable price to buy (roughly $59.99 hopefully?)

First time in 8 years we have a pass rush

Different philosophy. Different style of coaching. No more "bend but don't break" D that we're so tired of seeing. More aggressive play calling which is what you need to be on D

He has to stop picking on Jones. Seriously, he needs to spread the ball around a lot more, especially in the red zone. Jones will take two guys, and you can find other targets more open. Also, stop throwing uncatchable balls, even if you have to risk an INT. At the end of the game, a INT is the same as an incompletion in that position.

Don't think it's his fault. IIRC, the broadcasters last night stated that they wanted to target Julio more in the red zone and Julio said he didn't want the ball. Makes it hard on the QB if he's being told to find Julio and here comes Julio openly stating he doesn't want the ball in the red zone.
