He's a good fourth line guy and seemed to be developing some chemistry with JV and Granlund. Not all first round picks become top 6 guys. Riley Sheahan had two goals in 80 games last year. Still a useful player.

Wut? He's one of the few guys on the team that is actually throwing his weight around. fp

so he hits more than Sam Gagner or Henrik Sedin or Sven Baertschi or whomever so what.  That doesn't mean he is a physical player.  Most of his body contact is without any malice or aggression.  He is a marshmallow that makes contact because his coach tells him he has to instead of actually wanting to engage.  You can see that by the way he hits and his general demeanor.  All of that would be fine if he had some actual skill which he doesn't.

The world's best player at standing in shooting lanes has once again been rescued by CDC.  Dude you just don't get it!

Reggie how you can say that he is undervalued is mind boggling.  There is almost 10 people who felt the need to respond to this to defend him.  There isn't many players on the Canucks that get this much support from the fan base. 

I know its not necessarily constructive to harp on a 4th line player being bad, but he has played a lot more than Jake minutes wise.  Burmistrov has played less.  Rodin, Goldobin, heck give me some shampoo.  Same player but is very solid at face-offs and is marginally quicker.

Every coach has his pets.  Markstrom and Gaunce are clearly Green's.  This isn't bugging people yet but I am just getting in on the ground floor of the new Aaron Rome/Jason Megna.  Got to buy low!
