  1. This is the second time this week he indicaits this makes me think its for real

How about keep our 6th and send edler hansen and our 2nd round pick to buffalo for their #2.

Then send kesler to anahiem for etem, ott's 1st and there other 1st

Leaves us 4 first round picks and lays the path for are bright future and keeps our d stacked

    Hamhuis tanev

    Garrison corraddo

    Stanton bieksa

  2. Eh. I was just stating my viewpoint on it. I understand higher ratings might come from it, but I thought that LA as a market might still want to grow, but yeah, they're a weak hockey market at that.

Anyways, this whole ref blaming crap is annoying. That was my initial point.

I agree ive seen huge mistakes by the refs on both sides but theres no favourites or conspirasy.

  3. I earlier said add him in all proposals but i am thinking more about it and his trade value is really low and some players with a lot of skill do take time to bloom out and he could be a guy like that. With that potential and the little trade value makes no sense to trade him. Give him a chance and if not he could be a good vet in utica and called up when needed

  4. I like that Benning said he wants to play an up tempo, high speed, high pressure game. I don't think anyone else in the NHL is trying to play an up-tempo game, we will be unique. And we sure have the horses to play an up tempo game with the Sedins as our star forwards- I mean who is faster on the counter attack then the Sedins? And of course, they are getting faster each year with all their training.

Haha really? I think the opposite

  5. I remember thinking that the Habs might have trouble, because they didn't have the "hate" factor that they used to rally the troops against the Bs. However, I think all of that changed when Price went down and it intensified with the incidents involving Prust, Moore and Dorsett.

The Habs certainly looked motivated in game five and there certainly seemed to be the requisite amount of nastiness, on the part of both teams.

I think it's possible that the tank was on, or near empty in game six, but I also think that the theory ignores the exceptional job that the Rangers did in shutting them down. Montreal was clearly outplayed and only the heroics of Tokarski kept the game in doubt.

I thought they looked tanked in the first two games as well as game six. Got a rush in game five and three and for were competitve. But i think your right to not recognize the rangers did cause they did a good job and were always competitve. More consistant approche.

  6. No offence to AV. But I want the Rangers swept. I don't know if I can stomach all the 94' and Messier references that will crop up. Glenn Healy going off on the "glory days".

    Sorry AV.

That was like 20 years ago how many of us were realy even around or remember. I want them to los but would not cause of that cause i like LA more

  7. Only amongst detractors who didn't really know what they were talking about, but were willing to perpetuate any hearsay about him as long as it was negative.

Also, I have to chuckle at the "theory" that the loss of Dale Weise cost the Habs this game. It's almost as silly as blaming the officiating. When the loss of a 4th line grinder is enough to push your team over the edge, you weren't good enough to begin with.

Montreal managed 18 shots in a game where they faced elimination. They were completely shut down by the Rangers. In fact, their best chance to score came on a play where Dan Girardi was the last one to touch the puck...

Montral was emotionly warn out cause they did such a good job as underdog against boston. Maybe to good cause they played at regular season intensity after that while the rangers were on another level after beating sid the kid and malkin

Better team won now montreal needs to look at whats to be done to improve and to learn from the mistakes. I think they shouldnt of got vanek and should of got someone more playoff crazy intense like kesler. Other guys would of fed off him to. Look how effective toews is as a leader for his team you have guys like ben smith and 45 years old 4th liner handsuis scoring ot playoff goals

Montreal blame yourself and put a rest to the conspirasy nuts
