    Torts was so right about this time being stagnet and together too long. Start rebuilding already. Stop with the retooling BS. Not even close to be a serious contender.

      Been saying this since before the season started. They could come back in this game, but playing like this? Not going that far. Turns out my assessment on the team was correct all along. We just had to make the playoffs first and kill our chances at a decent rebuilding piece first.

      we did, sbisa 3.6m, 4th liners making over 2.5m, vey in the lineup, 6m backup goalie. rebuild complete

      Sadly Torts has to be agreed with. Sedins stay as they should but the rest of the core needs an overhaul. Bieksa and Higgins go first. Markstrom or Miller as well. Let the young guns come up and earn their time. Take one or two more seasons as a bottom feeder to botain good picks and good young talent via trades with contenders and come out flying in 2017. I'd rather be a serious contender in 2017 and have no playoffs until then over 1st round exits for the next 5 years.
