Getting rid of miller frees up the singing of horvat. Freeing up more money else where frees up much needed money to shore up the backend. When that’s achieved this teams looks a whole lot better. Horvats age also fits a rebuild/ retool better than miller. I won’t get into the 2 players track record of loyalties because they don’t measure on the same scale.

Horvats point trajectory is steeper in 2 2/3s.Seasons when compared to millers. Starting 20 ,21 Bo’s points went up. During that same period millers is somewhat inconsistent. Prior to 2021 horvats points are VERY consistent whilst prior to 20 ,21 millers is all over the map. everything points to a hasty decision lacking comparative due diligence between the 2. Controversy follows miller like a dark cloud. His play aside. Bo having some as well (contract). Signing Bo that all goes away. Miller on the other hand? None of miller’s antics happen if the team had more veteran leadership other than schenn. Miller has no leadership qualities. At all. Getting everyone on the same page with miller becomes an impossibility unless he can man up quick like ! The only person that thinks he’s a leader is him.

He owns Pizza Hut franchise. Maybe he’s feeding the players to much pizza.

The fact that we as fans are talking /debating owner management styles or history. Coupled with the mediocracy and controversy I’ll stick with my view of FA being a my way or the hiway owner. Recent history keeps repeating itself.

It’s totally his prerogative. But how many times has he said in the media he knows what the Vancouver market wants. It’s at that point it becomes him having more money than brains hockey wise. It’s enough for a few home playoff games. And that’s it. With the past management groups that have come and gone. Some publically stating rebuild retool. Some towing the company line. For the cheque. It’s his sand box. And it stinks of “ my way or the hiway”. ( mediocre ) forever until he finally wakes up to it.

He does spend the money. But is it justifiable to only him for his possible interference? Or micro managing trades. Not that anyone knows for sure but looking at the last 12 years the teams always in win now mode. (Mediocre). Winning enough games to have him say it works. But Losing enough to counter and say it doesn’t. The lack of success over 12 yrs suggest it doesn’t.
