From what I've been reading as a guest, as far as I know, beyond pick 1/2 there is no set player that everyone knows will turn into a success. If we don't pick in the first 2, I think we just need to be ready to trust benning and know that there's a chance whoever he picks doesn't turn out. (Even the first 2 could be the next Yakopov)
Every mock draft I look at is different, and there was one that showed the range for which different scouts put that player. For picks 3-8ish it said next to each name that scouts had this player from 3-13 or 3-14 or 3-second round even (I believe that was Liljegren)
I guess I'm just trying to be an omniscient voice for this thread so that the hate/dis belief is minimized for our pick because at the end of the day he is ours and we can only hope JB was right. I'm not that confident with the players in this draft because it seems really weak but it is what it is.
Heres to hoping who we get is the next superstar!
