Ideally we move Edler at the deadline for a similar return as what Sekera got. I broke down their numbers at all angles and Edler should be more valuable. Sekera got a 23rd overall pick and a solid prospect (McKeown). 

Del Zotto is a solid pickup. Probably comes in as a 6/7 guy but can play the big minutes (he was #1 in minutes during his stretch in Philly and played quite a bit last year). Perhaps a 3rd round pick?

The Comets are probably not going to make the playoffs. This will give Juolevi an opportunity to close out the year in the NHL and give Saunter a "thank you for your service" call-up or even Brisebois a look. On top of that, Hughes might be able to hop on for 9 games. 

Come the draft picks are at a premium. If we can then trade those deadline picks and package them with a player we could perhaps pickup another solid piece and make a bit of a splash as we host the draft. Build excitement around the new era. Or just keep them.
