Hughes can't be offer sheeted.  Petey can't request one, that is completely up to other team's GMs.  Where ever you are getting your information you would stop trusting it.

That's what I'm afraid of.  Push him, because he will do it, and then it takes more than a week to recover.  This game is not more important than the first game back. I don't know that this will happen, but as a Canuck fan I can imagine it.

Gaud  -- Petey  -- Boes -- Boes has been our best forward and works well with Petey

Hog  -- Miller -- Ves  -- Miller and Hog work well together.  

Motte -- Sutter -- Jake

There are several reasons for me to disagree, but I'll limit it to one:

 

Canucks long term:  Top line should not include Virtanen.  If this plan relies on Virtanen being a Top line winger you lost me.

If you guys are looking for some changes, seems better if Ferland comes back and bring some energy, driving the net and hitting to the game. Ridicious thing is more than half of CDC was calling out for this kid to retire the whole summer. Just the way this board is. 

So, you KNOW he is coming back?  Every time he came back he said he was fine, got into a fight and left.  It's not like anyone wants him to be hurt and unavailable, people want him to retire so he can enjoy his family and have a life after hockey.  Coming back could actually cost him his quality of life down the road.  You can't just expect him to come back and upgrade our lineup.
