  1. He should have many more points if his teammates would have buried his grade-A setups throughout the season. Very similar story to Pettersson with the Canucks.

Let him simmer some more and become a responsible player in all zones, but the lack of high-quality centres really hurts players like Dahlen right now in Utica. I think he'll be a top 6 forward in due time especially with the opportunity to play with high-end centres in Pettersson/Horvat.

  2. Knew he was a Franchise Talent from the jump. IMO he's right there with the tier of MacKinnon/Matthews/Eichel below McDavid.

Imagine if they actually selected the obvious choice in Matthew Tkachuk in 2016 and had one of the leagues most dominant PWF's on his line, no one would dare touch him.

    Tkachuk - Pettersson - Boeser

    Goldobin - Horvat - Gaudette

    would've been deadly

With Rathbone, I can see with some development time some elite qualities in his game. Love how he wants to be the main guy and rush the puck up the ice. Not only does he have the potential to play a highly effective game but also an exciting playstyle.

I love my d-men to be elite skaters with an offensive flair to their game.

Rathbone might take 2-3 years but I see his ceiling higher than Juolevi's and in 2-3 years it won't surprise me if he is held in higher regard.

Still, stand by this. Rathbone is a better prospect and will be a better player than Juolevi.

IMO our 2nd best D-man prospect. Great start for Rathbone hope he keeps it up.

  4. Looked like he jammed his thumb on the post on that breakaway. Unfortunate as he was starting to play like his dominate self these last 2-3 games. Woud've loved to see him against Canada/USA/Finland.

Overall this experience was great for EP and his development. Now get healed and have a big summer of getting stronger and make the team out of training camp. Excited to see him in September.

  5. Was a good game for his first time at the Worlds. Created some chances with good passes, and displayed his slick hands and creativity. Got knocked around a bit, but that's fine as he battled hard and was clearly one of the more skilled players on the ice. Expect him to get better as the tournament progresses.

He'll play in the NHL next year and excel IMO.

He got the flu at the WJC like about 1/3 of all the players there.   You are not only a troll, you are a poor one.   Yes, his play wasn’t great because he had the flu.   He lost a bunch of weight and was dehydrated.  It happens.  Happened to EP too.

pS - you clearly didn’t even watch the game as you describe things that not only didn’t happen, he wasn’t even on the ice.   Not sure what your end game is but picking on teens playing pro hockey is pretty twisted.

You're a legitimate nutjob that lives in his own world lmao

You're a good little troll, stalking and quoting all my posts trying to get a reaction out of me lol. On to my ignore list you go.

What a heartbreaking way to lose. Score in OT. Disallowed on review. And then give up a goal shortly after.

    Anyway 3-2 HIFK.

Juolevi played 19:44. Highest TOI among the 7 D.

EDIT: Oops, Heikkinen played 7 seconds more.

wow, stream went offline right after TPS scored thought they had won. Terrible ending.

hopefully Juolevi gets an invite to the WHC

  8. what? Look at my post on page 387. How come no one had a problem with that post? lol

I can post for likes like a lot of posters do, but I don't. I'm objective and unbias. Whether he has a good game or a bad game.

Oh god I dunno who to believe... I just found a stream online so hopefully I can watch a bit of third period before I go to work.

Remember this is a guy who straight up made up a quote and translated it into Finnish, posted it on here acting like it was real back when Juolevi was scratched for 2 games in a row. Apparently, he was sick according to this poster, a couple days later, the TPS coach says he was scratched due to his play lol

Regarding this game, Juolevi was at fault for the first goal against, as he couldn't tie the goal scorers stick and was outmuscled. He also made a terrible giveaway, low percentage blind pass, where he was lucky another d-man was back.

Juolevi looks flat and low energy today, it happens.

  10. Bad game for Juoelvi so far. Goal against was on him as he couldn't tie his man's stick.

Just made a terrible giveaway at his own blueline, was a stupid blind pass.

    TPS overall looks very flat.

  11. He just has that special x factor to his game. Don't want to get to ahead of myself but you can't help it with a talent like this. Feel like he could legitimally be competing for Art Ross trophies in his future.

The way he can pass was always known, but now he has an elite goal scoring ability. He now is 0.50 GPG in these playoffs just like in the regular season. God like hockey sense.
