Yup, there is a big difference in the lost draft position we incurred, and beating ANA and ARI the last two games was beyond moronic...I'd even wager the question as to what the cost would be to move from 11th to 9th! Watch DET or STL jump in and snag Reinbacher, we even pooched ourselves out of that one too (I doubt he falls to 11)

That D has to be corrected before next season starts, coz if we have to move forward with that group (again)....oof I like those guys too, but feelsy-goodsies aside, to even be in the conversation of contending, we're going to have to ice a more quality D corp. than what is present. I'd like to see Hirose in there to start the season too...

I agree with this....even if he's not courted by them, the way that coaches are dropping like flies around the league lately, BB still has a good chance of being pried away from his TV gig yet again lol.

I'm just not stoked on him at all, I just don't see it like others here do. He still plays "tentative" and "scared" it seems.... I don't know, I thought he would be more consistent, and hungrier to excel by now....and I loved the pick at 10OA at the time, especially since at one point there was a consensus that he might even go as high as 3OA...but he's only shown rare moments of pizzazz, not enough for me to get over the moon excited for. He is still young though, so I'm hoping he can find another gear and crank it up next year, but who knows, it's really unclear at this point, to me anyway.

I agree, there's no one better for the job, he would be a great captain, and I look forward to seeing that happen (not that it would be a terrible thing, but I do have some trepidation that they may choose EP40)

I don't disagree with your assessment at all, but being the long suffering and cynical fan that I've become, I will hold my breath and reserve judgement until I actually see meaningful, and continued forward momentum. I like Tocchet a lot, and I'm hoping his message (even more so) next year drills some of the complacency and bad habits that still linger in the room....and I hope, as always, that the FO will put in to motion the things that they say and promise. They've made great strides for sure, but there's much more needed (obviously), so I'll remain cautiously optimistic, while aspiring to be stoked

Me too. I think when the dorks in the FO see WSH or DET take Reinbacher, they'll probably trade down so they can take Pellikka, or even worse, take him at #11
