    No he didn’t. They made a coaching change and we’re still competitive in the playoffs. The only big change was the coach and After 2017 cup win, Jim thought it would be good to make a bunch of signing and trades for whatever reason. Pitts has only won one playoff series since. Once Rutherford started to really to shape the team his way, It’s gone bad.

    I don’t know how closely you follow Pittsburg but 

     

    2014 James took over for Ray made a couple trades and adds a new coach with a team that was competitive most recent years at the time in the playoffs.

     

    2016- they win a cup 

    2017- they win a cup.

    Keep in mind majority of the team is still together.

     

    Then James tried to blowup the team to make it better (trades flower, terrible decision) and they have only won 1 playoff series since…

     

    so yeah, I hope he doesn’t do that to the Canucks.

    Quinn Hughes on wanting to kill penalties: For Bruce to put me on the PK, it means a lot. I’m trying to round out my game, and I’m tired of hearing that I’m just an offensive defenseman.
