  1. Hotlby looks cool and relaxed tho, he checks out the goals on the big screen he doesn't seem bothered
  2. What did Green and JB say/do to inspire the Canucks over the past 10 games? Some incredible team management to take a slumping dog of a team and incentivize them to a point where they are ticking at 0.755 win % is unreal
  3. Petey being hurt was the true turn around and a lot of that had to do with Pete being fed pucks and the team feeling pressured to pass too much to Pete..
  4. Haven't seen Holtby make a big save all year, suddenly even Holtby came alive seems everyone on Canucks all the sudden are playing well, how come fans aren't shocked?
  5. How can Demko go from 3.2 GAA to 0.950 SV% and nhl all star in just a few weeks? What did he do differently from early year?
  6. This is not a LOL - huge game like this to give up PP late isn't funny, this could be their season
  7. Marky is struggling and injury prone while Demko's stock never been higher...incredible goaltending
  8. How did Demko transform? Is he in his final form or does he have one more form he is hiding?
  9. How can he shoot the puck without aiming? Don't you hVe to settle the puck on your stick so you can aim? How can you shoot so fast like Drasidl did?
  10. What do you mean? Brock doesn't play the net, he plays behind the net he distributes the puck to EP and Horvat to shoot from the slot. Haven't you been watching the past 20 games lol
  11. See you don't understand the reasons why to let him go as you aren't an expert or a financial analyst. As a fan I can tell you are frustrated but as someone who works in a corporation to me cutting quarterly assets and balancing the sheet is a priority to show management we are doing fine. Its about preserving my own job not really about what the organization needs long term esp if I am not around in the next 5 years, this is corporate thinking and this is normal behavior.
  12. If he says it again on the post game show any variant of: - its a good team down there - they are a tough team -fast, great team - good team Then someone seriously needs to sit him down and tell him to drop that quote forever.
  13. Thing is Canucks have really smart people making this call so people like me and you don't have to. I trust what the team says and does, the people making these decisions get paid a lot of money to make them, they are experts they don't make rash decisions they are counting the money and being smart with it so if Ian is a calculated risk to trim then I trust that he isn't worth the money. Canucks have a very strong analytics and financial team so let's trust their judgement on who to hire and who to let go.
  14. That something like a goalie coach is a perk/bonus not a requirement. These goalies are elite and in an NHL class level already, they can figure out what they need to do. Triming personnel can save an owner 200k here 350k there etc adds up quick. Pretty smart book management players don't notice these things they don't really pay attention to personnel moves so the message to the team isn't an issue.
  15. Thing is Ian has such a high pedigree now that his salary expectations are through the roof. You don't need a lot of personele to run a NHL club in a skeleton crew. Its actually smart business practice to trim expensive employees to save money.
  16. Why don't coaches ever say " we crushed them or those guys looked slow and weak" when talking about the opposition why always praise them? Inauthentic to called every team "good" cause they aren't.
