Based on what I read most of the speed when running and skating comes from the power in your HIPS if your body has a freakish hip flexor and allows you to hyper extend the hip rotation you are essentially cheating life

What does McDavid do differently than others? His legs aren't that much bigger than other players its not like he is 7 feet tall for max stride how can he be so much faster??

Of course its too late. Right now the rest of the season is about pride, and draft pick positioning. Playoffs are mathematically gone, i believe less than 5% or something based on current odds.. yah so an average fan last left a long time ago , only die hard fans are left to support the team.

When you watch hockey you watch it for entertainment + mood lifter right? What if instead of happiness you get frustration and disappointment.. why ruin your night over and over by keep watching?

If you been listening to Green's post games he is extremely positive. Always says we did well they tried hard etc. If you didn't know a few years ago in elementary school they changed the grading system from A, B , C+ etc to N, S, E - you can't be too harsh on kids you gotta keep giving them stars for participation.. its his coaching style

Thing is we accepted this season is over, I just fear TV ratings will fall so low when people give up on the team it may hurt Canucks chances at singing top RFAs next year

I think everyone already predicted this, its easy to see why. Based on the hockey salary formula a part of value is from offence but also a huge part is defense and physical side which are both non existent for QH. He is what he is, thus the 6/7 mill valuation.

I think none of us really knew how key goalies are to winning, now we all would be happy to pay top dollar for a goalie.. there is a reason why both Demko and Holtby were over 3.00 gaa last year and this year again..

Has anyone ever asked McDavid how he does 90 second shifts without getting tired? Wouldn't you be burned out by 3rd period? I play hockey on weekends with friends and you get tired pretty fast no joke.
