If you watch how fast he reacts as a careful observer you can count about 1-2 seconds delay in his movements. No joke he is behind the play mentally.

Moneyball movie tactic - modern day sports is run by algorithms of stats and analysis. Machines have been proven to be more effective at roaster distribution then just "gut feeling or intuition" Green is playing the odds and going by metrics.

What do you mean why? Because he is one of 2 goalies we have no choice. Benning took a gamble on him and it failed, it was 80% yes and 20% no, it was a good gamble just really unfortunate Holtby doesn't look like it will work out, but that's why he was a gamble and when you gamble you need to accept the consequences when you lose.

At this point its not constructive to blame Holtby its easier to accept that you can't rely on a big save from him. When he is in net you know he is letting in 3 goals you just accept it and if you want to win you need to score 4.

Holtby isn't cheap @ 4.5 mill Canucks are still paying a fair amount for a goalie that is clearly not motivated/not able to elevate his game.

Well Holtby had to go in because of back to backs, but as for who is the number one goalie its clear. Holtby continues his down spiral and it doesn't look like he will ever be that elite goalie, 3.00 gpg is where he is going to remain sadly for Canuck fans.

How can a human being shoot that fast with such a quick release so accurate through traffic. That shot is one of the best goals from my point of view of the year.
