Im not surprised Hassli is gone, he was not a fit in Rennie's system. I am surprised they traded him at this point in the season. Depth which was once a strong hold of ours in the forwards position is now just an injury or two away from disaster, and it always ends up biting you in the ass at times like these.. I truly hope they do plan on bringing someone in and this isn't just a cost - saving measure. MLS rules are very bizzare and whether or not the caps actually had to pay the 250k 3rd DP fee remains to be seen, seeing as we ended up trading Hassli so soon after signing Miller.. Its hard to explain but apparently its happened before with Seattle where they technically had 3 DPs for a short period of time before trading one of them and never ended up having to pay for that 3rd spot that point in time. This much turnover this late in the year im never a fan of tho.

Again... Really Whitecaps????? This team can't hold a god damn lead. That's 6 lost points this season and all at home. On the plus side Robson looks ???? fantastic.

We lose to TFC.. embarrassing. This team really has no offense aside from Mattocks. I hope they plan on bringing in some help cause i can't help but think this team is on the slide down out of a playoff spot.. Very, very tough schedule this last half of the year, can't be dropping points to these bottom feeders.. TFC and Chivas. We still play RSL 3 times..

So i realize Hassli is a big fan favorite around this town but for a DP he is really turning out to be a bust IMO. This team is being carried offensively by Mattocks and that's about it. I think its great that's their winning but man this team is like the Devils pre-lockout.

Yeah i dont really understand the whole Salgado thing. Presumably Sohen would of had a hand in picking the kid yet he absolutely refuses to let him see the field. There have been rumors of Salgado wanting to leave the club. He was sat out half of a reserves game recently for christ sakes. I don't see him here long term at all. FO is going to look stupid with this one.

Well the game went pretty much as expected no surprise there. As far as how BC place portrayed on tv i'll need some more convincing this is a good home for the whitecaps; its going to have to be seeing as they have a 20 year lease. I am curious to see how the players liked the field, was disappointed in the way it looked visually as we've seen with the same product in Salzburg and with Bayern Munich training ground their turf looks almost real and having those mower lines look. Personally the turf looked well like green carpet.... I am in no position to criticize the supporter groups but this is the 2nd game in a row where strictly from a t.v. aspect if you didn't know better you'd thought this game was being played in the oppositions building. They were loud and in unison, very impressive.

Ughhh worst nightmare confirmed: The draping system is atrocious. Hopefully they can tinker with it but the way it is now they'd be better off leaving the upper bowl exposed. Football lines did not powerwash off very well.. yikes field looks pretty lousy.

Yeah my whole point was were wasting a DP spot and valuable cash on this guy when we have so many more obvious holes to fill. This ain't the canucks the whitecaps don't make boatloads of cash and while i believe we have a very good ownership group i doubt very much were going to see them throwing millions at a guy like LA.

He is eating during the day on game days. My point was its a month every season we're going to have to deal with him not being able to play a full 90 nor play anywhere near his potential.

I understand we are an expansion team and losing is somewhat expected but for fracks sakes its starting to wear on me.. The defense is downright laughable bad. I have to ask the question again why the hell did we waste a dp spot on Jarju...? he's not even in the starting lineup anymore altho ive heard that's because he's fasting for ramadan which leads me to question his signing even more. Management is really going to have to prove themselves in the off-season. Im not really convinced Sohen is capable of bring in the right talent and from what ive read from DC fans they absolutely hated him.

Shoulda never signed Jarju.. He may turn out to be a great player but that money would of been well spent on defense or a MF. Just seems downright puzzling considering how well Hassli and Camilo are up front.
