I would hope we wait until the season's over before making any decisions. I kinda wish Gillis had done the same with the Sedins but that's done now. IF santorelli can keep up this play i would have no problem handing him another 1 year contract and only a 1 year contract. Be it 2 million or less. A multi year deal would be very poor management by Gillis.

Its getting there... I am not ready to give up on him but i would of expected a greater evolution and so far were not seeing it. I still would like to see him play with the Sedins for an extended period... Next year really does need to be a break out season tho.

I don't want to say i don't care anymore but ive accepted this is just how things are going to be this season and id be surprised if we make the playoffs this year and if we do i don't expect anything to change from the past 2 years. God does this roster ever need some fresh blood, and im not talking about the revolving door of 3rd/4th liners.

This is some of the best D i think we've seen this season by the Lions.. just too bad our offense is useless. As good as our D is you just have that sinking feeling the riders are going to break through eventually and break this game wide open.

In the perfect world to me they'd be signed to 1 year deals here on out.. That doesn't appear to be the case as they've now said they want this contract to be their last. I for one would be very weary of a 3+ year deal but that seems the direction were headed. The Sedins aren't greedy players tho and they know this team needs the cap room to be able to complement them with good players if were ever going to win a cup. I don't see them asking for any more money than what they already make.

Im not exactly that in tune with Soccer but its appears pretty much common place from what ive seen to see the goalies screaming, waving their arms and pointing fingers almost every game. I doubt that is an issue whatsoever. I think we had a nice little hot streak there where everything was going right but that probably wasn't a true indication of where this team is. I don't think the results are any different with Knighton in net these past few games, altho i don't think the difference between him and Ousted is that wide a gap.

Possibly the season going down the drain tonight. This team is horrible on the road, these were a must 3 points tonight. I know they had a good stretch of wins but its all pretty much come crashing down now. Uglyyy.

So tired of people that whine about this. Its not exactly rocket science, the leafs have a massive following and massive viewership numbers as do the habs to a lesser degree. All the friggin games are shown on t.v. nowadays so who really cares.

I get Knighton's played well, particularly that Seattle game but aside from that performance he's made the saves that should be saved. I think this loss opens the door tho to see a change in goal, curious to see how he performs.
