Finally I can use my hotel experience to use!

Unless you have an American Debit you cant pre-authorize on Canadian debit cards as far as I'm aware. However I'd say a majority of hotels take debit deposits (usually $150-$200) plus room plus tax. They usually make you a "cash-only" guest which means taking away your phone/PPV/mini-bar services and room charges at restaurants or other facilities within the hotels services are disabled as well.

By standard at check-out an employee has to go check your room prior to check-out to ensure no damage has occurred and any appliances have been stolen before they can give you back a deposit. 

Its definitely more effort than its worth, everyone in the hotel industry prefers credit as its much easier to check-in and check-out guests. **Side tip, never use pre-paid credit cards, they will not work and you will have a hard time getting your money back because a deposit on one of those credit cards creates a black hole for the funds...Hope this helps, lemme know if you have any other hotel q's!

I just feel Giroux would be better long term as he is 3 years younger and centers tend to be more durable than wingers from what I've seen. Well alot of Edmonton fans from HFboards think he will be 100% playing on the 1st PP, which could result in Drai playing 1st line at even strength here and there, I don't expect Lucic to play the full season on the 1st line. 

Some people seem to think that Yak will have a resurgence as well  Well if you can't trade him.... plug him on the  1st line lol

Awesome, I do like Huberdeau more and their 1st PP with Yandle this year will be amazing. I was on the fence before but with the reminder of Eastern vs Western opposition this makes it a no brainer.

Draisitl I might have to pick up in the 2nd round as you never know if they fully convert him to a winger and stick him on even strength with McDavid that could be amazing.. Thanks!!!

yeah i gotcha ari, well i had about 1100-1200 for each of the last 2 years backed up and 600 from my final week of actual work. I get that totally since my "bracket" is that high up, as long as in the long run i get it paid back haha. That's good to hear I just have to play the waiting game now, thanks for helping straighten it out goalie13/arigold, much appreciated! :D
