  1. As per Cap Friendly - Heavily front loaded. He’ll pull 8 million for a couple of years, 6.5ish in the 3rd, and then likely go on LTIR.
  2. Fair enough. Some players do get a rough ride out of town for sure. I just happen to believe that the 2 players and scenarios you mentioned were fairly accurate. And no, I don't have a legit source.
  3. Gaudette did break protocol and shortly after, the team got Covid. As for McCann, Matt Bartkowski's mom (edit - not Ryan Miller's mom - my bad) started that rumour.
  4. Don’t believe the hype. and ANYONE claiming that Bo Horvat is mailing it in, is out to lunch.
  5. Having been to Sweden only once before, my experience is limited. I did, however, notice that most of the residential ceilings I observed appeared to be 8 feet. This would be more than enough to allow him to grow comfortably.
  6. A lot of these Euro contracts seem to have an opt out clause if they are able to sign with an NHL team. Could be that, or, maybe he wants to make good money, playing a bigger role, in one of the most beautiful countries in the world.
  7. Assuming these post NHL trade deadline deals would not allow for these players to play for their NHL clubs. Does the AHL have a trade deadline? *edit* NVM just googled it AHL deadline is today (March 28)
  8. Hope he wins a cup and signs back here for cheap! Obviously there wasn’t much of a market for him. Kind of surprised the Avs wouldn’t give up a 3rd for him…
  9. Yet he seems to get into the lineup as a 6/7 dman. Hmm. Wonder what you know that NHL executives haven't been able to figure out.
  10. Speedo… nope. No one wants to see that. I assume you’re referring to Hulk Hogan as Thunderlips?
  11. Wear it with pride, even if he does get traded. Nothing wrong with having a former player's jersey.
  12. And he negotiated a contract that contains a NTC. He has no obligation to waive it. Martin's 3 games in Vancouver have been fantastic, but let's face it, the main reason the Canucks would want to move Halak is to save cap space. Whether you agree or not, that can rub players the wrong way, especially UFA's that are looking to sign with a team that they can feel some level of trust and respect with.
  13. In doing so, they would risk alienating any future UFA's from signing here. Mistreating a well respected player can have it's draw backs. It will be interesting to see how they handle this.
  14. Anyone know what Dale Tallon is doing these days? It'd be cool to bring back our first ever draft pick to try and get us out of this mess.
