Apparently Gaudette's sitting in Chicago too until he's recovered.

Players using inhalers post covid.  This is an ugly virus that is serious, even to young fit athletes.

This is so ridiculous to even think they should play Friday... or Saturday. Forfeit these games and get a few days to try to get in shape.

If Bettman the A-hole will not extend the season for them or take their average winning% for the standings at the end of the season, he has seriously hurt the NHL brand by purposely putting players in danger on Friday.

Absolute BS and would like to know if Toronto would be treated the same way.

  2. Highmore looks like a better fit for Bottom 6 role then Gauds, but still dreamed Gauds had potential as a top 6 wingers.

Dreamer , nothing but a dreamer obviously

really just a meh for meh trade to save some cap money with expansion coming up which they'll need this summer.

Good time to remember the Vanek for Motte trade where everyone called out JB for bringing in a Meh player..... time will tell

Points percentage assumes Montreal is able to keep winning at the pace they had been which will be a tall ask with how many games they need to play in a narrowing window of time. Especially without the services of Armia and Kotkaniemi.

Although I wouldn’t put it past the league to throw out competitive fairness and let armia and Kotkaniemi return to the lineup sooner after this delay than making them sit out as long as Benn and JT had to when the Canucks had to play games without them immediately.

If Montreal maintains 500 hockey we will have to go 14-5 or they crap the bed and go 10-15, we need to go 12-7 and then we still have Calgary to worry about

its possible but the odds are going to be tough to get r done man

  4. I would keep Hughes.

We know what we have in Hughes. a phenomenal offensive Dman that could likely sit in the top 5 scoring Dmen over the next 10 years.

He's a smart player and will continue to improve his Defensive game over the years.

Dahlin has declined each year offensively and this year could due to the nightmare environment Buffalo players are under,  but he could also turn into a Tyler Myers type player and be a good D man but not Norris material.

Because the jury's out still on Dahlin, Hughes is more of a guaranty and proven product therefore why take the risk when Hughes could be winning Norris trophies for Buffalo

also Gauds added make this a pass IMO
