  1. But weren't they Top 10, 2 seasons ago? They didn't contribute as much as the team would have liked, but the PP wasn't the problem. This season, the power play wasn't as good, but neither of them were on the team for very long, so we can't really blame those 2 now can we?
  2. You should just change it to that anyways. It's better than your current username
  3. I believe if Michigan makes the Frozen Four, it will be Apr 11-13. I believe the NHL regular season ends on Apr 6. If that happens, QH will not be on the team till next season.
  4. And look who ended up with the canucks at the end. Just because Brock didn't play the first 2 games doesn't mean that Burmistrov was gifted a spot ahead of him. Boeser looked tired at the end of preseason, considering he played alot more of the preseason games then the vets. Boeser would've played in game 2, but the canucks won game 1 and TG didn't want to change the lineup that won the first game. This is a Quinn Hughes post. Stop talking about forwards. I would understand this argument if you're talking about defenseman and the log jam we have there, but nope it's all about OMG WE HAVE TOO MANY FORWARDS!! THE YOUNG GUYS ARE GONNA GET WAIVED AND BAD ASSET MANAGEMENT!!!!!! ARGH!!!!!. Start putting your opinions in the battles at camp thread on the canucks talk page. Stick to Quinn Hughes talk. This also goes for you @Horvat is a Boss. Anyways back to the thread at hand ...... QH sure can dangle!! Can't wait to see him sign that contract and play in Penticton (On Livestream of course, since I don't actually live in Penticton).
  5. How bout you put your opinions on another thread. This is a Hughes thread, not an OMG THE CANUCKS SUCK AT ASSET MANAGEMENT!!! thread. There are tons of threads there that you can add your opinions on in the canucks talk section.
  6. From what I read, he was put on in the end of games to defend leads in Michigan. I also heard that the team basically changed their whole playing scheme because of him. Based off of what I read, I can say he played in all situations. He was also put in a top 4 role on team US by the end of the tournament in the World Championships. He got scored on only once in the whole tournament, by Korea of all teams. He's a cerebral player, and that is how he will be defending.
  7. I believe QH was already playing those elite minutes you talk about on Michigan. He was their #1 D-man playing in all situations. What he would learn in the NHL is the time it takes to make decisions (since you have to make them quicker in the NHL). He won't get that experience playing in the minors or in college. I would be all for him going back to college if he wasn't a good defensemen, but from what I've heard, he's a smart player defensively as well as offensively. Only thing he gains playing in college is playing with his brother for a "fun" season.
  8. Yup, they look to be heading in the right direction. Let's see if JT re-signs, but it's looking better for the islanders. They were finally smart in dumping Snow.
  9. Looks like biggest steal might be Islanders at 12 with Dobson .... wow did he drop. Never expected him to go down that far. And Zadina.
