  1. i have free tickets for a house show tomorrow. big whoop lol, everybody does it except indy's (most)
  2. yeah, but even at 1.0 or whatever, its probably one of spike's highest rated shows. I've heard roh gets on average about 1 million viewers every week, combined through syndication
  3. I disregard TNA, tbh. Right now, my favorite fed is PWG. REALLY good stuff as of late.
  4. Sami Zayn, better known as El Generico, will make an appearance tonight in Montreal for the Raw House show. Pretty awesome. Oh, and watch this. you never know when the next match is gonna be
  5. He's used to it, to a lesser degree, in London.
  6. If you're talking about how much the players make, i'm pretty sure it's like $800 - $1100/month in London. That's the average, but i'm almost sure of it that they've paid much more to some players to convince them to play here instead of College. That's why the Hunters take lots of risks with draft picks. ie, Patrick Kane
  7. He's ready, but he'll be even hungrier if he gets a taste of the big leagues and then comes back to lead London.
  8. it's obviously unlikely, but i think gaunce, horvat and schroeder are all in competition for a spot. not likely, but he's a very adaptable player. he won't be a long term project, i'll say that.
  9. I totally agree, and i hope they don't give into that pressure. I'm actually hoping that if Belleville tanks this year, London will pick up Gaunce at the deadline for the Memorial Cup run. Schroeder has experience on his side, and i think he deserves a fair shot. On the other hand, the thing that makes me think he's ready is the way he matched up against Mark Scheiffle in the finals. Mark is a prospect who is in my opinion extremely ready, and should've been on the jets last year. I think Bo could hold his own, but i'd rather give him 9 games.
  10. Well the way he put it was that the Canucks are hoping Horvat is ready, and if he's close enough, he'll have a shot. Mostly because they see it as Canucks fans want to see results from that trade right now.
  11. Heads up for anybody interested. I spoke to the Knights merch guy, he runs the ordering and all that. I asked how much they'd want for Horvat jerseys to BC, and he said around $225 fully stitched. He'd reduce shipping costs to make it work. Also, he intends to make the "Bo Knows" shirts again this year, but he hasn't been given the greenlight to make any more Horvat merch yet. Take that for what it's worth, but according to him, he's been told theres about a 40% chance he stays in Vancouver. He's the only Knights besides Zadorov (visa issue) who hasn't returned yet to Knights training camp.
  12. Scouts in Vancouver had Bo ranked higher than Val and had met with him quite for a long interview during the combine or whenever they do the rookie/team meetings. If he wasn't available, from what i've heard through the grapevine (take this with a grain of salt), they were interested in Domi, Mantha, Val and then Hunter. McCarron also had a meeting with them, but he thought he would go later than 24th, so he didn't see much interest. don't read into this too much, because hockey players are known to inflate their ego's quite a bit. but, i heard from multiple well connected people that they were VERY high on Bo.
  13. No, it was either Horvat or Zadorov. Horvat plays much tougher minutes than Domi does.
  14. I wouldn't say he's shy, but he's one of the more quiet guys on the team. He was more chatty than usual, though. He's one of the more humble, hard working kids i've known on the team. Put it this way, it was a team get together for fans, and he was the first one there. Last one to show up was Max Domi. Not a knock on Max, but that's just there nature.
  15. I had the chance to talk to Bo yesterday (had him sign my draft hat). He says he's put on muscle over the summer so far. Hasn't had the chance to meet any of the players, but he said he's pretty excited to meet Lu and Kesler, as well as watching the Sedins and learn from them. He made a point of saying that him and Brendon are both fighting to get the same spot on the team, and they'll have every opportunity to try. He also said he enjoyed playing with Hunter quite a bit. he said he doesn't know who strombone1 is, so i had him look him up lol
  16. I think the advantage Bo has is that he can excel on the wing, as well as center. He's excellent on faceoffs.
  17. That's his natural position, but he has ended up being a better center.
  18. What it comes down to was that Bo was a very risk free, complete player. Safe pick, who will definitely pay off. Playing for the Hunter's has been proven to be great development for many players, and they also made an announcement that will be great for the players overall development. More time to focus on developing. http://blackburnnews.com/london/2013/07/24/the-london-knights-hockey-academy/
  19. He's a guy who plays in the tough situations. Goals aren't important when they are all in blowout games, if you look deep in his stats, he scored clutch goals.. comeback goals. I guarantee the thing that made our scouts take him was his drive in the playoffs, and his sudden break out.
  20. Max is very much an offense first player, a big contributor to Max's success was Niki Zadorov. He opened up A LOT of fast breaks for him. Bo is two way, he's not gonna be relied on for pure offense
  21. they should trade for gaunce and subban lol
  22. Just noticed the only meeting between Belleville and London is in October.. i better get tickets soon, they sell like crazy
  23. They might have the "BO Knows" shirts again when the season starts, i'll have to find out next time i'm there. Jerseys are $125 plus i think like 40 for stitching. I got mine done on the night where they ran a special where you could get a jersey and stich only his name on it for free, or a small cost. I'll look into it next week probably if i'm at the arena. Worth noting, Michael McCarron, the Habs 1st round pick will be joining the Knights next year. He could be excellent on the wing with Bo.. 6'5" 225lbs.. wow
