  1. Same as NHL quality jerseys. The orders come straight from the arena and they have two stitching machines in house. It's neat, you can buy a blank jersey at the game and have it stiched before the end of the game.
  2. I kinda think that it's his spot to lose. I just have a feeling that because of the splash they made to get him, they'll be eager to let him play. The difference between Horvat, Gaunce and Schroeder is that Horvat could slot in on the 3rd or 4th centre spot and it wouldn't hurt his development. He's suited to play any line. Good example with Bergeron, btw.
  3. Cody may have more offensive prowess, but i'm not sure that will show up as much on the stat sheet. Bo is a safe bet in any situation, which is very good for us. I think he's ready with a bit of conditioning this off season, but i also think having one more year in London would be beneficial for him. I'd be surprised if he doesn't make the team in 2014-2015
  4. Bo will be named Captain, unless he cracks the Canucks roster, which Dale Hunter apparently believes he might. That's something i heard from a friend within the Knights marketing department (they're working on merchandise, probably) I totally agree, that series was the coming out party for Bo. He really proved how good he can be.
  5. To be fair, I think Schiefele pushed him to the limit, it was an even match. But that's saying a lot, because Scheifele is an amazing player.
  6. Personality wise, i'd say yes. Very humble, and driven.. farm boy. I don't know Shinkaruk enough, but i don't know if he wants to be compared to Kane.. I know how Kane was in London, a party town, and if Shinkaruk is anything like that in Vancouver... oh boy.
  7. Most people call him "The Ox". I call him "Captain Serious-er"
  8. He has plenty of skill, he just isn't relied upon as much for his offense, as much as he is for driving to the net, setting screens and even drawing penalties. Like i said before, he's an absolute game breaker. That's where i'd compare him to Kesler.
  9. Horvat is more of a natural, in my opinion. I haven't seen as much of Gaunce, but the biggest factor is the transitional play and skating. That's what sets them apart. Bo is more natural, or instinctual than Gaunce in the sense that he is more able to create something out of nothing. Fast break scoring, and breaking out of his own zone is a big strong suit. Gaunce is very solid in the offensive zone in terms of facilitating a play, but Horvat is more likely to take over a game. Gaunce is more of a player that lets the game come to him.
  10. When i saw them both play in february against eachother, they were matched up against eachother on many shifts. Two things set Bo apart from Gaunce, his skating ability and transitional play is absolutely superior. Similar players, but Bo is definitely more involved in all areas of the play. He's a can't miss player on the ice.
  11. Exactly. Keep a close eye on London next year.. he was still on the second line for much of this season. Likewise with Miles Liberati, these guys have had older players in front of them for alot of the time. Horvat is definitely a playoff performer, thats why he went up so high in the draft.
  12. Horvat is like a hybrid of Kesler, Bergeron and Backes. Another positive he'll have is the opportunity to get another shot at the memorial cup next year. I can't wait.
  13. Tortorella is exactly the spark our team needs. We need someone who will call out players when they need to be
  14. Shield has been the best thing on every show lately. Not surprised, though.
  15. WWE is working on raiding the indy's again. Sami Callahan and Samuray Del Sol top the list, although Del Sol denies it. He'll be an upgrade on Mysterio. Extremely talented.
  16. Tippett has been great at utilizing what he has.. We have quite a few great assets
  17. our core isn't the issue.. he's right. we have to get younger. lets see if that happens.
  18. vancouver is also a location that unfortunately has higher income tax, detrimental to bringing in key players
  19. ffs. already posted. Rob Ford in talks to become assistant coach already, ownership looking to crack down on costs of coaching. (e4)
  20. Dominique Ducharme wouldnt be bad as an assistant
  21. coached a high school football team Please, no wise cracks
  22. Yes, just like Corrado did. I don't see it happening though.
