Ah, so not Rachel, eh? Ray's a straight shooter but pretty sharply opinionated; he's toned that down and its a good schtick now. I always liked him as a player, 'cept against us, of course; gritty doesn't half describe him. Different era than today too. Players had to be a lot tougher and that meant being able to take a beating and still make the play/score the goal, and he did that.

Good stuff thanks. Not my favorite people, any of them, but they were all good in this. Might have to revise my opinion on The Little Ball of Hate. Sekeres has a face perfect for radio; but he was good here (unlike when I used to listen to radio). Ray used to hate on the Canucks big time, imo; he seems to have grown out of that. I wonder if anyone has gone back and looked at what he used to say about the Canucks. Thanks again.

Bruce seemed to throw all roster questions back at the reporters with something like, "Not my department". So does upper management put the game roster together without input from the coaching staff? Might help explain some of the mysteries beguiling CDC v/v who sits and who plays in any given game.

Speaks for a lot of us. I haven't seen a coach motivate the Canucks like Bruce has since Pat Quinn used to take off his glasses and get everybody to lean in.

Don't we have other threads for long-term success plans of CDC posters? Can't we enjoy the team's success for a couple days? Tear it up, trade xyz, this guy's no good, coach won't be here long, etc, etc. Every thread degenerates into a pissing contest of who knows best. I'll take management's and coaches' ideas of who knows best over that dither. Especially after a solid win in the Post Game Thread.

Looking forward to Thatcher Stoning these Pretenders to The Throne! Martin has kept us in there, amassing a wee pile of points (4 Wins and 1 Overtime loss). But his average is 3 and a half goals per game, which, while not his fault per se, is more comparable to a backup tender's numbers. Demko coming back is going to kick it up a notch and get the fans into it. We're a team like that alright, and we're gonna score so many goals their head's 'll still be spinning long after its over. GO KNUCKLES!
