Man I got a killer headache today Like a fool I agreed to a drinking game with some co workers over last night to sit around the fire pit we watched news clips of the protesters and every time any of the yelled "Freedom" you had to take a shot and every time they refernced overthrowing and or arresting the libs you had to take 2 shots. wowzers 30 min in and drunker then I have been in many years ............... man this hangover is like having those trucks laying on the horn in your house.... need more water and tylenol

The protesters are not calling for free elections which we just had. They are calling for the overthrow and a new type of committee governance with senators the GG and them. And if senators don’t vote their way they are suppose to resign as well It’s government over throw plain and simple we just had an election and my party didn’t win. I’m not out there holding Canada hostage and causing fear and division because my party didn’t win. In a democracy we work hard to be ready for the next election while respecting the office even if we don’t like the person elected to it i do agree though that we need proportional representation and I as well don’t care for politicians who’s only real job was being elected to an office. if they haven’t actually worked for a living how could they ever fully understand what a working class person goes through. Not until hospital covid admissions fall below 200 and icu below 25 in my opinion and they won’t lift both mask and vax at the same time. I’d see masks first …. Today's protesters claim their freedoms are gone. I can prove they have more freedom now.... Imagine in our youth our parents got a call or saw us on TV attacking Healthcare workers just because they work in health...... The clinic is a voluntary by appointment only and only people exercising their rights are attending This is demostic terrorism and they shouldn't not have allowed to target and attack health care workers. Peaceful protest is fine and is a charter right When that protest impedes or blocks others it is no longer a charter right as they are.stripping the rights of others to move freely and safely If the protesters stuck to the lawns on the hill and to the sides of the road in Alberta I would.support them staying as long as they please When they block others from.going to work.for days and side roads that only impact citizens not part of the protest ..... when they block roads for days not allowing freedom of movement for other citizens ...... that's when they need to move them I don't care If they need the army to do it but the rule of law must be restored. The 2 biggest problems is in election financing laws and financial support once a protest becomes illegal In both of those situations the line becomes about the use of the go fund me to support such actions Go fund me needs to ensure that the donated funds go to where it was stated ... only to cover individual trucker costs to attend and participate in the rally. If even 1 penny makes its way to the maverick party or other associations, if one penny goes to the Alberta blockade declared illegal and has targeted police and if one penny goes to any of the protesters still at the hill .... go fund me should put a stop to.it If not it sets dangerous precedent that illegal.activites can fund source on the platform I have no issue with them paying out as it was advertised And go fund me absolutely profits as.they get a portion of the funds
