For the record I don't like the explanation from the ref there. I'd call it no goal on the fact it wasn't going in until it hit Stasny's skate which was moving towards the goal line but not for him skating through the crease.

That definitely came off the skate and the skate was definitely moving towards the net either way. I don't like the original excuse given for that to not count but it would be no goal on the kick anyway.

So we're blowing play down when the other team has possession with an injured player down? Can we retroactively apply that to Quinn Hughes getting high sticked?
