No actually, I don't think this is any type of joking matter, especially on a subject so sensitive to sports. The notion that there are worst things said on the ice doesn't take away from how significantly bad this is. Luongo's a great player and no doubt he'll find a good fit somewhere. He fixed the goalie graveyard complex that plagued our team for years and fans should be forever grateful. But it was time for a change for the sake of the team, and unfortunately the net was the easiest place to start.
