Shortly after 112's claim (and BW's counter claim): Anything here? Remembering he probably heavily suspects 112 is indeed the Sheriff... [posts I didn't quote] BJ was engaging (softly, not directly so much) with Zfetch more than anything else. Nothing unusual, but we can maybe play some WIFOM with it.

Well BW did that last round, so seems solid to me.

Honestly, unless I catch something, I'm sticking with TL on the basis that I find Kryten easier to read. That said, some of TL's posts give my town vibes.

Ahhh, does BJ do the 'rule of three'? He had just spent a couple posts slightly shading AV and Zfetch, although that's not his justification for who should be investigated.

I'm currently re-reading parts of R1 to see if I catch anything.

It does change things a bit. It makes it less damning. That said, town and mafia hedge their bets in different ways. TL's statement doesn't read like a townie trying to puzzle things out; it reads like a scum not wanting to take a firm stance.

@Kryten my man, if you don't have time to read all of R1, here's the summary: *There's a bunch of discussion about whether, how, and when to sheriff-claim; BW even made a thing *112 claimed Sheriff and outed BJ *Ceres counter-claimed Sheriff (non-combatively) *AV claimed doctor, but later retracted when no one counter-claimed (it's me, btw) *BJ spews a bit as votes pile up *112 and Ceres eventually demand each other drop their claim, and Ceres gives in and admits he was just trying to provide cover *BJ gets lynched, MR forgets to save 112 and she gets MKed I recommend just looking at what BJ said to/about other players if anything. Or just read from nightfall to now.

This is a good find, especially the second quoted post. TL is indeed hedging his bets. Vote Time Lord

Re: the Doc save We're all intelligent enough to work out the possibilities of what I can and should do tonight. Let's leave it at that.

Haven't done a proper re-read yet, but my thoughts as it stands: Town-locked 'and me' Town-leans (not in PoE) BW - if this his scum game it's his best one I've yet seen AV - making plays too big for a wolf Town-probablies (low in PoE) Zfetch - a bit WIFOMy, though; I just think ZcumFetch tries to stay on board with the townies more than he has Null at best (high in PoE) TL - nothing pings me one way or another; this puts it more to the wolf edge of his scum-spectrum, but not unduly so Kryten - I think we need to engage him in conversation without making him re-read all of R1, as that's daunting; maybe direct his attention to certain points, e.g. BJ's spew I don't have anyone who I'm all that certain must be the mafia, so let's figure out who amongst Z/T/K is the most likely option, lynch them, and go from there.

Eh. I was at first, but how many times now has he made big, bold claims? At a certain point, I think it actually reduces the town equity he has built up. Don't get me wrong, he's not being lynched today. But openwolfing like he could potentially be doing is not going to come across as that tinfoily if we get down to F4/F3.

I don't see why he wouldn't be. He's hyper engaged, clearly trying to solve the game, and there looks to be a clear progression of his reads and thoughts. He's someone I probably only reevaluate in F3.

I was also counting on being in a game without my usual paranoid detractors voting me for any ol' thing and trying to hit that sweet spot of not looking too townie by virtue of lack of effort, but not looking too scummy by virtue of tone.

Like some of those were just badly forced.

In my defence, AV was still claiming Doc when I went to bed. I figured if he still was when I woke up I'd save him and make a #bigheroplay. Didn't even occur to me about an actions deadline because I'm never awake at this time for it anyway.
