    Something I've been thinking about recently, do you think Edler ever came close to his ceiling as a player. He had inconsistencies throughout his career and at this point I think he's cemented himself as a great #2. I think he's taken the Salo-approach which has allowed him to play safer, but at the expense of his offense.

      It has a lot more to do with the back surgery he had a few years back. He's much slower now which has him a bit more hesitant doing everything.

    Detroit continues to find gems in the draft. First their 6th rounder from last year now http://theahl.com/stats/player.php?id=5957. Yes that is his nephew

      That's nothing. With the 196th pick, they choose a kid named Axel Holmstrom. His stock has risen so much, some argue he'd be a top 10 pick if that draft had be re-done

    Everyone always talks about the prospects but no one seems to bring up Brendan Gaunce. Dude was very close to Horvat in training camp and he's exceeded all expectations in Utica.

      Cal O'Reilly is 28, and looked better than both Horvat and Gaunce but he's 28, he's more prepared and physically matured. Horvat and Gaunce didn't have the best training camp/pre-season. Horvat even said, that he was just making sure he didn't make any mistakes. Neither of them blew anyone away with their pre-season performances.

      During Training camp and pre-season, many were split on Gaunce/Horvat. Horvat was chosen, and many people felt it was the case because Gaunce could go to Utica and Horvat would learn nothing going to back to junior.

      A push counts as a hit by the way. There's no way of telling, what else counts as a hit. Those statistics are uselss. Shiznak, just do everyone a favor, and just watch Del Zotto play.

      Hitting has nothing to do with speed. Del Zotto is terrible. Wouldn't be surprised if he's out of the league in a couple years. Rangers are in the conference final cause they traded his ass.

      Fabbri would be projected as the number 1 pick, if it wasn't for his size. His work ethic and tenacity is the reason, people are realizing that size won't be an issue anymore. All the rankings, will have him bumped into the top 10 and even up to top 5 maybe. When that happens, people like you, who have no idea will change their minds

    Nicklas Jensen's brother Markus Jensen is 17. He will probably be in next years draft. Would be awsome to get him.
