  1. You get one free punch to any active NHL player without any repercussions, legal or physical. Who would you choose? Remember, they have to be an active NHL player.

    I would say Trevor Zegras.

So many to choose from Bettman, Zegras, Marchand, Perry.

For me its Darnell Nurse, smug bastard that runs around like an absolute douche. I want to hit him with a Bieksa special flying superman!!!!

Hey Joe I just looked at your status. We both joined 4 days apart back in 2009. You have made 9000 posts, ive made 900.

Obviously a lot more vocal than I am!

Good to hear you are feeling well.

I stated on another post quite some time ago, no one is allowed to step away from CDC until the Canucks hoist Lord Stanley! So you can't go anywhere!

Wishing you the best of health Joe. I hope you can get a handle on the cause and work on getting healthy.

  4. can a team have too many russian players on their team?

  5. Everyone out hear trying to trade Rathbone for pretty much nothing. How about we give the kid some NHL games before saying he's too small or poor defensively. How many of you have actually watched him instead of just looking at his stats/ height weight metrics?

its infuriating. He is a hell of a player. PPG in the AHL and he's just learning...i suspect the kid is going to be a top 4 defender in the NHL in a very short time. You dont give those sort of players away, EVER.

Why cant we let him mature for another year in the AHL, its not like the back end for the Canucks doesnt get banged up over 82 games!

Rather than trade him away for a new shiny toy or a handful of magic beans lets just continue to build him into a stud defender for our club!!

Thankfully none of these posters  have any influence on Canucks management as the outcome of some of these trade proposals would  be a nightmare

  6. Currently, a .607 point percentage is the playoff line. We're at .484, so we'd need to win about the next 10 games straight to have that point percentage. We're not as close to the playoff line as many are making it out to be.

That said, as Gabby has said many times, it's about being consistent over the long haul. Don't worry about winning 10 straight, worry about winning 2 out of the next 3 games and keeping that going.

I had a look at the previous years prior to the covid shortened seasons and we probably can get into the payoffs with 3-4 OTL and 13-14 more outright losses and the rest wins. So its something like every 5 games = 4 wins and  a loss will get them in
