Arguably the best 20 minutes for the Canucks this season...although there isnt too many periods to choose from!

This isnt just a PK issue either! If you watch closely they often have 3 or more goalies out there. Rather than push up on the opposition they want to be reactive rather than proactive and its killing them defensively

I have a feeling the change we are all seeking with drafting and developing has just happened. The fact the farm team is within eyeshot and the set up Ryan Johnson now has in place we are slowly going to see more emphasis on development. We all know the past has been miserable on both drafting and development, but I feel a line has been drawn in the sand and we are seeing more prospects in the key positions in Abby. You can see with Podz and Rathbone being sent down to play big minutes in all situations the club is addressing the development of key players. Lockwood is growing and hopefully develops into a 3rd/4th line role with the club. They seem to be working hard with Woo as well giving him 1st pair minutes. Klimovich is another thats not being rushed or pushed out of playing all together as the farm team stacks the vets to win. Its going to take time to see results but I believe the line was drawn at the beginning of last season. Now we just need more picks and a little patience for the prospects to mature

I really struggled to decide which upvote to give this...I ended up giving a laugh, but I contemplated the Sad vote and the Rough Game, all quite fitting! Lets hope we dont need to live forever just to rejoice in the hoist!

Defense....what is that? The Canucks are yet to offer any all season. In nearly 50% of their games they have conceded 5 goals or more! I don't think i've ever seen a Canucks team so utterly incapable of showing any defensive ability what so ever. If management (trades) or coaching is able to get this team to allow 2 goals or less per game then look out, they could really cause some issues for teams in the playoffs. Currently this team would get eaten alive in the playoffs but miracles do happen. Maybe Santa will bring us some defensive aptitude...or maybe some real defensemen. How long til Christmas?
