One can only wish we get some defencemen that know what defence is! Its a completely foreign concept to the guys out there currently

Here we go again...Let's just outscore our problems!!!

I dont think ive ever seen a Canucks team so incapable of playing any sort of effective defence. Its so bad its hurting my eyes to watch!!!!!

I’ll go out on a limb here and say yes!

My take on watching this team play is we are too passive when allowing zone entries and far too passive on the PK. But my biggest concern is we tend to have 2 or 3 guys who want to play goalie rather than go out and play the man on the puck or the man about to get the puck. Our defenders seem to think its about "save percentage" rather than denying their man the ability to get a shot off. Ive said it before...if they want to play that style of hockey then they should just pile on top of each other forming a wall across the goal line and just block shots for 60 minutes results cant be any worse than what we've seen so far

Why was there no call on the interference on Pettersen down the wing? He tipped in and the defender was very late. It grinds my gears

Is Myers playing goalie? This defence just boxes in and about 4 of them want to play goalie...its classic!

Maybe he stays and Stillman goes through waivers...one can only hope!

Kuzmenko has been great. But he is a hot commodity that should be sold at peak price. With this teams defensive woes its time to sell the best assets for great returns to fix those issues. Although he is an excellent asset, he is just another winger (we have a plethora of them in the system - maybe not as advanced but they may get there) who can get us a good return. The management currently needs to be finding as many of these opportunities and selling high to get a good return. Rinse and repeat!!!

I am after a little clarification...the Canucks are being outplayed and currently losing to a team that is intentionally tanking for high draft picks and doesn't even have an NHL capacity rink to play in. Is this correct?

I would be completely satisfied with this game if they had traded away all the decent players for draft picks and there was a distinct decision to get a high draft pick...unfortunately this is just sad as this is the best they can ice!

Jeezus, you really can't go wrong with any of those players on your team. Wow they are some handy 1st/2nd overall picks. Makes me want to cry...if only the Canucks could pick up some draft picks like that!

I know this start to the season has been a punish to watch but just enjoy the little wins!!! We got the win. I am on the fence at the moment, I love the result but a first overall pick would be nice... its so hard to enjoy the wins but also wishing for a good pick. Wow this team is so hard to follow

I dont watch enough other teams games but would love to see the stats on posts hit. The Canucks seem to be bloody good at that this season.

Why can this team not play like this for a full 60 minutes. Its beyond me why they seem to be only able to put it together for20 minutes a night!!!!

I think its time for a new strategy on the PK. Just get the 4 skaters to lie on top of Demko in front of the net and let the bruins fire the puck at will for 2 minutes...can't be any worse than whats currently going on.

I haven't missed a game all year...but its getting tougher to actually want to watch this train wreck. Im so bitterly disappointed with this on ice disaster

That goal is the difference between what the Canucks do and what all the other teams do. They applied pressure to an isolated defender and won possession!

This is CDC we can always find something to bitch about (plenty on here have been known to make stuff up to bitch about!)

With the early start and time difference maybe the Canucks will perform in the third period like they normally play the first period...one can only hope because that first was pretty bad.
