West is West - 8/10 I've been meaning to watch the follow up to East is East for some time, thought it was brilliant. Not gritty like the first one, more humorous.

Aye me too, it's 400+ pages so there better be something worth reading in all that. Still waiting for a response from Chapters, dunno if this is the sort of thing they'd carry or not. We shall see.

I guess it's kinda music related, does anyone know where I'll be able to pick up a copy of Morrissey's Autobiography? It's finally coming out this week on Penguin Classics (wtf), I could order it on Amazon but I want to go and buy it, Canadian post sucks.

The new Arcade Fire songs sounded good last night (though I didn't really rate that SNL performance). Less than a month until the album is out, which can't come soon enough. I hope they come to Vancouver (or anywhere else in BC for that matter). Gotta go see them again for sure!

I hope so, I really like it. I think I'll pre-order the album tomorrow. I can't wait until they hit the road again, such a good band live.

Even though Oldham beat Liverpool in the last round I can't be mad at them. Hometown team taking on the Premiership, it's brilliant. The last minute goal to tie it into a replay was awesome. Hope they go all the way, especially with all the money troubles at the club, it'd help them financially the deeper they go into the competition. This was posted on their changing room door today:

I have a soft spot for Luke Bryan Ever since I went to Merritt last summer I've slowly started listening to some country / new country. Some of it's alright. That new album of his is just all his EPs combined plus 2 extra songs. I'll probs give it a listen.

That's what I'm like, never bothered with the other stuff but loved The Postal Service. Just looked on their website again it's been updated to show a re-issue of Give Up (with 2 new tracks), an appearance at the show gJ mentioned and "more to come". I hope they do make a new album, but it's been forever and it might end up crap like No Doubt was last year. edit - just looked on twitter and there's a tweet that reads: Maybe it'll be like Refused, touring around again.

Just finished Arc, so goooood. Thanks for posting that up, my favourite is Don't Try. 2013 already wins as I didn't really like anything new that I listened to last year, admittedly I didn't really actively look but nothing really stood out for me. I mostly can't wait for Arcade Fire this year, pretty sure they won't let me down.

I like that new Everything Everything song, didn't even know they'd done a new album so I'll probably check it out. My Kz Ur Bf is probably my favourite song by them.
