  1. Wasn't an extra point. It was a whole 21 yard field goal
  2. Not really. Sure wilson is ALOT better than geno. But lots of garbage time points as the jets will probably be throwing to come back instead of seattle trying to ice the game by running
  3. Edit: beat to the harvin news. But shocking to say the least
  4. Wouldn't be a very good fit in New England He'd implement his Tampa 2 defense and try and put Revis and Browner in zone the whole game. Not exactly playing to their strengths.
  5. I already know he went to either Wisconsin or Oregon without even looking it up if he put up those numbers as the back up running back lol
  6. One more thing before bed tonight. I wish Detroit and Dallas had a game this year. I think that would be a great game. BIg time emotion after that crazy game between the two last year. On top of that talk about a goliath vs goliath battle between Dallas' O-Line and Detroit's D-Line. Would be very entertaining to watch imo
  7. I've found some real life footage of Detroit Lions kickers at practice fine tuning their craft. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IvXF2ZB4aWQ
  8. Think you're confusing me with somebody else lol. I would love to have Murray as my #1 RB atm, with both Jennings and Mathews out, is Roy Helu
  9. DeMarco Murray is a BEAST!! That is all.
  10. I don't know but I don't think the guy has set his lineup since the start of the year lol. I better get him on a week with lots of byes. Also first Lions game I missed this year and it seems like it was a pretty thorough thrashing on defense of the Vikings "savior" Teddy Bridgewater. Which was needed with both Calvin and Reggie not playing, although it seemed like Theo Riddick filled Bush's role pretty well by looking at the stat line. Also I guess some things never change as Prater missed more field goals today than all of last year. Make that 2/12 from farther than 30 yards.
  11. I don't really understand what your trying to say. That because you have him all these games will be won?
  12. Lions will apparently sign Matt Prater Hopefully 3rd times the charm
  13. Didn't surprise me he did something like that. Everybody knew he was a douche anyways. Even Golden Tate agrees
  14. Wow I'm getting lucky in fantasy lol. All it would have taken was 1 of harvins 3 tds to count for me to lose, instead so far all have been called back by penalty
  15. Sad how about a month ago so many, myself included, thought so highly of him. To be honest the child abuse reaction was a little over the top, still somewhat deserved but went a little far (unless I'm missing other details than the one beating) but that, plus this his reputation is tarnished beyond repair Would have said the Cowboys before the season started that Dallas would give AP a blank check and tell him to write whatever he wanted, but not anymore with Murray absolutely killing it Edit: Just scrolling through espn. I knew Murray was doing awesome and leading the league in rushing. Didn't realize it was by 230 YARDS!!
  16. If memory serves right he was perfect in preseason and even hit a 50+ yarder. I`m pretty sure that was all just a media stunt though. Also read another interesting nugget about the historically bad kicking this season. The Lions are now 1/9 in field goals 40+ yards. Who would have thought it would be so tough to find a kicker who hits at least 50% of his kicks farther than that. Just praying they sign Prater this week. I know the same leg strengt probably won't be there as he won't be at Milehigh, but please, me and anybody else who likes the Lions just need a little bit of hope that more than a chipshot has a chance at going in
  17. Detroit kickers on this season 4/12 or 33 percent We weren't always a kicker graveyard either, for like 30+ years we had 2 different kickers. In the last 20 games we've had 3.
  18. You won't need it. My team has been pretty garbage this week
  19. Detroit's offensive line has been an absolute embarresment today. Whoever gets the win in this game won't be because they won it, it will be because the other team was worse
  20. Maybe the Lions should just make a decision to stop kicking field goals at all. Punt or go for it
  21. Man, you know you've had it good when 2-2 and tied for the division lead is a bad time. Try sitting through 0-16 and no super bowl titles despite being there the whole era. I'm sure I can get some agreement from the couple Bills fans on here periodically.
  22. This, I wouldn't ever want to splash too much on a league with as much parity as the NFL. Stick to the NBA
  23. In an emoticon , but this might work as well Honestly though it's something Lions fans have been thinking was a pretty strong possibility. Suh has all the leverage in this situation because he wants to be paid ALOT. I think Detroit would have no problem making him the highest paid tackle in the league, but are wary about making him the highest paid defensive player as they already have so much money tied up in Stafford and Johnson. Right now they have over 50+ million tied up in those 3 players (or over 1/3 of their team salary) and both Stafford in 2 years time their salaries will have raised a combined almost 20 million (Yes I had to do research for those numbers ) They just can't afford to do it and Suh knows if he hits free agency somebody will for sure give him what he wants. As for being able to fill the void, if there is one team that may be able to recover from losing Suh it would be Detroit I think. If they resign Fairley him and CJ Mosley are by no means slouches as well as our rookie Caraun Reid has by all reports been impressive and I'm sure we would pick another DT in at least the first 2 rounds next year. We won't be able to replace the dominant force he is right away (maybe not ever). There just isn't another defensive tackle with his combination of size, speed and strength around. But I think the position group is strong enough so there is only a slight drop and it doesn't go off a cliff. * Side note my percentage that he stays in Detroit is 25%. I personally think he might end up in Oakland, they have tons of cap after clearing for the last couple years and he kind of fits that stereotypical Raider player
  24. Can't wait for the Lions game today. Looking at each defence it is going to have to be whoever passes the ball best which should bode well for the Lions. The Jets have run the ball well so far, but Detroit has got the second best run defence (Not surprising) and the #1 ranked defence (shocking). So if we can force the Jets to pass frequently and let Geno sling it around to Kerley, Cumberbatch and a less than 100% Decker I think we win. On offence there is no way the Lions will run the ball that well. Haven't been able to that well against Green Bay so it probably won't happen against the Jets with their beasts Wilkerson and Richardson blowing up the interior of our offensive line which has taken a serious step back this year. However I think we escape with the win as I think we will be successful in the passing game today. From what I've read the Jets like to play one safety high and the other closer to the line. If they continue to do that I expect Golden Tate to have a huge game because if they are smart that safety will play closer to Calvin's side leaving Golden's with minimal safety help. Final score: Detroit 21 - 13 New York
