What is it that makes Benning so reluctant to get some draft picks back when making trades?
Why is he so in-love with players that produce so little on the ice?
Why is he still having a job?
This is what happen when there is no one in the organization would talk some sense (or cent, in this case) to Benning before he offers this kind of ridiculous contract.
I really don’t remember a time when Green will juggle the line when things aren’t working. He likes to keep throwing the same line out again and again hoping for a miracle.
Really don’t know what kind of system the coaches implemented. Shouldn’t there be some adjustments after the Monday shut-out lost to see how to beat Hellebuyck?
I actually don't mind Green, but I just think he needs some experienced assistants to talk some sense to him to make some pre-game and/or in-game adjustment.
This lost sucks but I agreed with one poster that said it is the second lost after playing some good hockey in the last few games. Let see how they respond against the Oilers on Saturday.
Given how weak the North Division is and the Canucks still cannot put up a fight means a lot about the team Benning assembled. Its a shame that the owner still gave a vote of confidence to him.
He gave a BS answer to a question "what gone wrong in the 7 years when (Benning) said the Canucks will be a contender in the next 3/4 years when he first got the job".
He just talked about the trade deadline when asked if the Canucks can make the Playoffs.
He said he will wait (again!) after the trade deadline to negotiate the contract of Pattersson and Hughes.
What have we Canucks fans done to deserve a GM like this?
