    Big friggin deal let him go to Dallas, don't want him anywhere near the Nucks. Guys like you will be crying and moaning to fire Torts and Gillis 4 months into next season when the Nucks are near the bottom of the Pacific division with half the roster on ir from blocking shots.

    Did you watch what a good line matching coatch like Q did against the Bruins? he line matched on the fly until he got something that worked with his star players not bench them. The Bruins are static with 4 lines and don't change anything up unless injured. Torts/AV just bench guys and shorten up the bench until they basicly run 2 lines and burn them out.

    Brent Sutter is my choice , good with youth and no bs guy. also something about a Sutter that commands respect with the reffs, a start in the right direction..imo.

    His bunker buster has knocked down more opposition shot blockers than I have seen in years, will probably take out a couple of guys in a long series..put the fear into them and get them out of that collapsing mode that is in vogue now.

    Are the Canucks going to steam anything from camp, scimmages etc? other teams seem to be doing it.

    Early in the season yet and maybe he is working hard on the defensive part of his game. You dont play in the Canucks system without some kind of defensive zone smarts especially with Vignault behind the bench. People forget that Kesler is a shutdown center first that happened to find a nice scoring touch with more time played.
