  1. Dude you trying to get yourself banned, a lot of people are gonna buy this?
  2. Don't worry guys Travis has got a plan just waiting for the haircut
  3. This is absolute gold and is a visual representation of what the Canucks are right now! I would add that people are willing to pay 25 bucks for this milkshake business is good
  4. Another gem this is after a 20 point win. Panathinaikos won the Euroleague that year
  5. We need people like this guy, hes won eveything as a coach at European level but it applies to senior managent and players. Grow a pair and speak the truth. Well worth a watch, who talks like this in pro sports?
  6. We are getting to the root of the problem here. This has been a recurring theme since we got a franchise in 1970 the owners have made some "questionable" shall we say choices about GM's and senior management that is one of reasons we have never had any sustained success as a team. Yes Aquilini thinks the fanbase is dumb and he's not far wrong when he's selling out the arena and making a killing on merch and VIP Suites. People love their team and 50 years of hurt make people stupid and hungry for on ice success. The years we made the finals was more about individuals and players taking charge rather than an organisational long term vision. Quinn fired everyone and took over as coach in 94 and GM Burke and Gillis were instrumental in 2011 (AV not so much) and the players played to their potential. Vancouver has the team it deserves I'm afraid, it can't be separate to the culture and mentality of the city which is getting more and more soulless as the decades go by. Players tune out their coaches all the time and in every sport world wide and if Green can't get the room back he's toast. The players feed off the vibe of the city and organisation they ain't goin anywhere.
  7. Oh and f*ck the refs!!!!!! TOO MUCH MAN (x2) !!!!!!!!! In overtime are you serious?????
  8. Can everyone please calm TF down its game 13 of an 84 game season. Do not talk about how many points out of a playoff spot we are at game 13, by the same token we are 6 points out of first (with two more games than Edmonton granted) its too early to tell. A bit of perspective is needed people. Have a look at the rosters from 2018 19 20, have you forgotten No Name Louie, Sam Ganger, Del Zotto among other gems we had? We have a better roster than we have had since the Sedins, the team is trending upwards and will be fine. Remember our goal differential and shot differential last couple of seasons, have a look now. Points and wins will come, we wont win the division but we will be in the mix come March. You young guns have no idea what a sh*tty team looks like whole lotta pain in the 80's and late 90's. Relax, support your team and enjoy the ride, I thought the last few games have been exciting to watch. Be like Tony
  9. What happened guys I though some people wanted Peterson traded and were relieved that he only signed for three years? He hadn't played a competitive game in months and missed pre season, you think he forgot how to play hockey ffs?
  10. You must be wearing some dark glasses watching the game florescent blue is not a good color
  11. WTF is a kraken???! Giant squid or octopus??? These people got paid to come up with this? Damn if I was a player Id refuse to sign just because of the sh*t uniforms and name
  12. Ugly arse uniforms ridiculous name for team (krakers) and areana. Sort it out Seattle its hard to like you!
  13. On another note Schneider is on waivers. Wot you think? Who won that trade again?
  14. If you don't have winter you shouldn't have a hockey team (mind you that is borderline for Vancouver). F*ck Dallas and Tampa and Vegas for that matter. No one cares in an empty rink as well
  15. If Vegas has to win a cup I hope its this year in an empty rink. It will be a fiiting end to a weird year where a made up franchise with no fans can parade the cup in September in the middle of the desert. Proud of our boys we will be in the mix for the next few years, this might be the group that brings it all home!
  16. Sipping ouzo at 2am is not a good plan if you want to stay awake. Oh and f**k Boston!!!!
  17. Yes like I said Hughes gets to stay on the pp. Myers can't hit the net from 10 feet. In fact all of our d suck at this thing called shooting. I remember we used to make fun of Jiri Slegr for not being able to hit the side of a barn but your pk and willingness to block shots takes a bit of a hit when the puck is coming at you 100 mph head hight
  18. Who would execute this aforementioned slapshot grasshopper? All dmen not named Quinn should be banned from the pp. Put a forward on the point that can blast the puck (Brock Petey) let the others cause a bit of carnage in front of the net. If they overplay Alien he glides by the guy and creates a 5 on 3.
  19. Bure, it's not even close. I started following the team in the 70's was super excited when I watched my first playoff game against the Flyers in the Spectum. We were tough, hard nosed but other than Gradin no one could score. In 89 we played the Flames in the first round. In OT in game 7 Smyl (who I loved) had a breakaway, Vernon made the glove save, but he never really looked like he was gonna score. Fast forward to 1994 Bure is in the same situation, he sends the puck, Vernon, and a defenceman into the net. It was never in doubt! Thats the difference between good and great players. Bure was a superstar from his first shift as a 20yo and I would argue we have never had one since (Petterson may be the next one). He absolutely bossed the league for 3-4 years until he destoyed his knees. You had to be around at that time to appreciate how phenominal he was after 2 decades of pain as a fan. He's the best offensive player after Lemieux and Gretzky I have ever seen but deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as the 2 greatest of all time. Honorable mention to Lumme, Gradin, Tanti, Smyl, Linden, WCE and the Twins. I loved Glen Hanlon as well I rememer him standing on his head in Montreal (2-0 loss should of been 7 or 8) Saying that our future is looking bright and this group might be the one to finally bring it all home
