  1. We did OK, July 1st is always overpayment period, never like signings, especially in the first couple hours, bargain will come later.
  2. I try to be positive, it's easy to say, trade now Miller,Garland Boeser, and is much harder to do. We are fans quick to critic, look at Carolina, the top team, and did nothing (almost compare to East teams). Better NO trade than Bad trade!
  3. they could, retained money on Boeser deal, keep him around 4 mln and he maybe traded.....true is all 3 players in Canucs uniform, the rest could/should irrelevant at this point
  4. Miller,Garland and Boeser still Canucs, as I told many times, nobody trading for $$$$ contracts this days, nobody......
  5. Canucks getting a call on Garland, and I am still buying lottery tickets every week; why do I have a feeling the results will be the same? Nothing will change.
  6. We (fans) overvalue our players; for example, we paid $56 million for Miller, who now doesn't fit our goals but is still a great player, so we trade him but encourage you to overpay for him because we'll keep him if no one pays too much. Garland and Boeser are treated the same way—if we don't receive our price, we keep them! Guess what, the rest of the league doesn't give a damn; keep them all.
  7. Hronek deal is a biggest gamble and move this season, new management will rise or fall with that trade. Trading Bo was a necessarily move due to his upcoming contract and current cap situation, trade for Hronek was a voluntarily choice.
  8. If teams has an "effective" player, why this team will trade for Garland? Stop this nonsense, trade him for pick(s), unload contract, we have many wingers on this team.
  9. we need RHD we got RHD, did we overpay a bit ? Perhaps just NYI 1st straight up should be enough, but I am not loosing my sleep over 2nd for 4th round swap. We get 25 year old player, I think if we combine all trades this TDL, its a strong B+ for our management.
  10. Larkin cost every penny, I am very enjoying his game, seems like he always has A+ game against Canucks .
  11. Not good not bad, fair deal. This is business, thank you and move on! Next please
  12. Boeser's playing regrets so much that it is not even funny anymore. He signed a contract and lost motivation? He looks slow and dumps the puck in every time with zero creativity or energy.
  13. Depends on return, nobody except EP40 should be untouchable, NOBODY including Hughes, Demko and Aquilini dog (if need to be).
  14. Barbashev is two way player, I wish one day Aatu Raty will be playing like Barbashev
  15. He is HILLARIOUS, literally make my day after this post: "One of the few players who truly appreciates the aesthetics of the sport and aims not only to win games, but to provide a beautiful visual experience to fans. Watch him in slow motion and it’s truly mesmerizing. His skates melt through the top layer of ice like a knife through butter, crossovers with the grace of ballet on ice; his wavy dirty blonde locs flowing in the wind behind him are just the icing on the cake. He's a true marvel to watch. Kravtsov studies the game, he actually did college courses on sports management and coaching; when he’s out there he isn’t simply a player. Players have become a cog in the wheel, nobody has revolutionized the sport since Patrick Roy with the Butterfly; but Kravtsov is the next revolution in hockey. He is crafting a performance art, all of the drama surrounding him is part of his theatrical nature and will build up into his redemption arc. He has already strategized his entire career with the precision of a Machiavellian genius. Most NHL players play checkers, the McDavids & MacKinnons play chess, Gretzky played 4D chess; Kravtsov plays underwater Madden NFL '06. He takes cues from Elizabethan theatre but with a veneer of the early wave of post-modern satirist playwrites, if you’ve ever dove into Anton Chekhov’s early works some of Kravtsov’s plays will start making a little more sense. Through the eyes of a modern day hockey fan they might not "get" Kravtsov yet, but in the future when stats become advanced enough they'll be able to pin down exactly what it was that made him so special. In a few hundred years his game tape will be in museums, and I'm not talking in the HoF, I'm talking in the Louvre. Kravtsov is bigger than hockey. Gretzky may have been "The Great One", but Kravtsov is "The Chosen One".
  16. I am watching a lot hockey including Rangers if Russian players on the team, don't care about Rangers, big fan of Artemi Sergeyevich Panarin lol I am not an expert , reading Russian news about hockey, I call Tryamking will be not back long time ago (he hates Vancouver) and was call idiot by many users here haha How we doing now? Is he back??
  17. Refused to go to AHL to improve his game, does not get to the net, 200 game with/out pack is a biggest problem (like to play only offence),if he doesn't like something-back to KHL! Don't call this lazy, call something else, it is what it is. I LOVE this trade for Canucks, he is basically free and with other Russian players on our team, good gamble for Canucks.
  18. Base on pure talent, I will argue Kravy higher, however he is lazy, Valeriy is hard worker, not surprised by his success.
  19. Lockwood is a great player for AHL, Vancouver (unfortunately) playing in NHL. This is nothing to compare here, even if Kravy go back to Russia for free, we win this deal.
