Dellins
Why do you care so much about what others have to say? Especially when it is pretty obvious how this story could anger people and potentially change the way they'd normally respond. Get over yourself. JAH
Paralyzing the neice of an HA member tends to elicit a rather violent response. BTW, can you clowns invloved in the bun fight take it to PMs?
Donky
He is not a fugitive. He is a victim.
Wetcoaster
You can be both. You do not have to be running from the law to be a fugitive.
hockeyfan87
Comparing women's rights from 100 years ago to internet posts is way off. And here's more of that "tough guy" internet talk that I love seeing. What's my "idiotic" point of view? That if you're going to talk trash, say it to their face rather than in the safety of noone knowing who you are? I bet you like going to the zoo and slapping on the glass to agitate animals because you know they cant get at you. Would you be so brave without the barrier? It's shocking to me that so many believe that it's acceptable to not be held accountable for what you say.
لني
It is being reported that Leah Hadden-Watts, a 21-year-old Maple Ridge restaurant worker is the niece of Michael James (Spike) Hadden who is a full-patch member of the Hells Angels Haney chapter. She is also related to several other Haney Hells Angels members. According to reports she has been paralyzed from the gunshot wounds she sustained while a passenger in the vehicle containing Bacon, Amero and Riach and is a quadriplegic. Donky
This always facinates me why women get mixed up in this. On one hand you have societies view of the "fairer sex" and on the other you have cold hearted bitches and then everything in between. So many "types" of girls get mixed up in this stuff. Donky
Yes you do - in the sense in which it was employed in this thread. And he is not.
Wetcoaster
I disagree. It was not implied in the post in question that he was a fugitive from the law. Merely that he was a fugitive. And he is a fugitive from the intolerable circumstance of being hunted by gangland assassins.
Donky
Certainly not the way the post was constructed. Your interpretation does not make sense in the context.
Donky
While the guy who was killed wont be missed by anyone outside of his family and friends, I find it pathetic that so many posters talk trash about this guy or any other gangster because of the security of Internet anonymity. I dont think anyone will sympathize for a "gangster" but this is stupid. It's cowardly and classless and if you really want to be a "tough guy" or can back up your talk, post your photo and real name.
Wetcoaster
He is on the run. It doesn't matter from whom. He cannot seek medical attention without giving his position away. You could also say he is a fugitive from questioning by the police. Either way that makes him a fugitive. A fugitive is a fugitive is a fugitive. From what he is hiding does not matter. لني
She is mixed up in it because she is a family member of several Haney Hell's Angels members. She grew up in this lifestyle. The liklihood that she was not going to be involved was slim. She was not some random bimbo that fell into this stuff.
Electro Rock
I think one of the major reasons you're not seeing effective action against organized crime here and elsewhere in Canada is that the economies of 2 of the 3 major Canadian cities are heavily dependent on their being multinational crime hubs. Montreal and Vancouver especially would simply fall on their faces without it, with serious consequences to the rest of the country.
Donky
Seriously??? Nope. You may have missed the fact that your medical records are confidential. While a doctor may have to report a bullet wound to police it will not be known publicly. As far as questioning by police, unlike the US we have no counterpart of what is known as a material witness warrant. If you are a witness and do not want to speak to police there is nothing they can do to compel you to do so. James Raich is a victim and not a fugitive in the sense of the post at issue. Wetcoaster
You are assuming he knows that....He is on the run....hence fugitive....seeking refuge. Not a difficult concept.
