The point is not that he can't be traded, but these are the details preventing it from happening. The Nash deal is a good example actually, where even if he did tentatively agree to waive his NTC, he had full approval rights and because of that a deal didn't go through. I am responding to people in this thread that think it's a slam dunk that Lu will be a Canuck next year because of the NTC.
