Alanw12
I'm writting my paper and need to extract some paragraph out of pdf materials, but the pdf can not be copied, so I need to tranfer them to word so that I can use them freely. Any idea to do that? Do I have to use a software or any tools?
LostViking
I would get a Firefox plugin that allows you to read PDF in your browser. Really easy to copy/paste from Firefox once the PDF is open. You can also try PDF software, there are a lot of options out there. Personally, I use PDF Complete Special Edition (came with my PC), you can copy/paste in there but I don't think you can convert to word. I think Abode Acrobat has the same option but this might only be the pay version (choose the Select Tool, select text, then Ctrl+C).
avelanch
if the pdf is saved as an image instead of a document you will need a OCR program to extract the characters.
Primal Optimist
I would use either Google Docs, if you have a Gmail account, you can open the PDF in a way that it is transferred to a word type document.
