Once the team is warmed up we have two of the best ten goalies in the league, stats wise over time: these two games mean nothing but missed points. 3 of em to be exact, too bad but nothing to cry over. Detroit did it and won a cup. The problem with this team is the same problem they had all along - they have a hard time scoring when it counts. 0-2 on the shoot out tonight. 0-3 in SCF. Underachieving Hero of CDC Posted January 21, 2013 Share Posted January 21, 2013 Just play them 50-50 until Shneider shakes off the rust and gets back to his old self. Could be as soon as next game. Luongo still needs to be dealt. Having $10 mil invested in goaltending is ridiculous when half of it is always sitting on the bench and we have such an urgent need for decent second-liners. If MG decides not to deal Luongo, then he has to shop Schneider around. I think that would be a monumentally stupid decision but its still smarter than keeping both.
