Chimon Posted April 7, 2013 Share Posted April 7, 2013 Although the Hurricanes are sad to part ways with Jordan Eberle, we feel we have addressed the pressing need of veteran presence in Carolina. Last (this) season we had a very young team and while we made the playoffs, our collapse after taking a 3-1 series lead exposed the the team's lack of leadership and players who know how to close out playoff series in the post-season. Adding Mike Cammalleri also solidifies our cub's need at centre, a spot that was in sore need of an upgrade after last year, where the LW Jussi Jokinen was forced to play.
