Plum
This proposal I made isn't made to happen all tomorrow. It would happen throughout the year and into next year. Extensions: Hansen 4 years 3 million per. (If steps up game to 2nd liner, 3.8 million per). Schroeder 2 years 2.1 million per. Kassian 3 years 2.5 million per. Weise 2 years 800k per. Cannata 2 years 900k per. Andersson 4 years 1.5 million per. Archibald 1 year 970k. Polasek 1 year 880k Biega 1 year 910k Tochkin 2 year 900k Santortelli 1 year 700k Ferriero 1 year 650k Sedins 2 years 6 million per. Corrado 2 year 1.7 million per. Kenins 1 year 750k. Dillon 4 years 1.9 million per. -------------------------------------------- Trades: To Van: Konopka, 5th round pick 2014, Graovac. To Min: Lack, 5th round pick 2014. To Dal: Tanev, Friesen. To Van: Dillon. This might be a underpayment, but I'm not going to give up anything significant for Dillon. To Van: Anthony, Mullen To NJ: 7th round pick 2015. ^ Free up contracts. So the purpose of my trades are to get better for the next 2-3 years while still being a competitive team in the league. We have Sestito, Weise, Santortelli as our depth forwards, our 4th line is above average 4th line. Gaunce and Graovac have had chemistry in Belleville, hopefully that can pan out into the NHL and they can become top 6 or top 9 forwards that can contribute. We lose Tanev but gain Dillon (who I think is a more physical and better defensemen with more potential) and we gain Graovac who I think is a sleeper, 7th round pick hopefully Gaunce can help him reach better than a normal 7th round pick. --------------------------------------- Signings: Michael Sauer 1 year 1 million. 2 way 60k Brett Sonne 1 year 710k. 2 way 45k Allen York 1 year 660k 2 way 41k. These signings are different from other CDC proposals. Starting with Michael Sauer, played with NYR and Torts. Good depth guy, right handed and can step into our top 6. Brett Sonne, 24 years of age, not playing up to his potential, signing him and hoping for him to step his game up to a good Utica player or strong 4th line man, 5'11 200 pounds. Has good size, low risk high reward signing. From Maple Ridge too. Allen York, 6th round pick, has yet to reach his potential, he can be our Utica goalie battling the spot with Cannata while Eriksson is the backup to Luongo. Underrated goaltender, when he playing with CBJ he played well. Still can become a better goalie. 2013-14 lineup: CAPGEEK.COM USER GENERATED ROSTER My Custom Lineup FORWARDS Daniel Sedin ($6.100m) / Henrik Sedin ($6.100m) / Alexandre Burrows ($4.500m) David Booth ($4.250m) / Ryan Kesler ($5.000m) / Jordan Schroeder ($0.600m) Chris Higgins ($2.500m) / Brendan Gaunce ($1.057m) / Zack Kassian ($0.870m) Brad Richardson ($1.150m) / Zenon Konopka ($0.925m) / Jannik Hansen ($1.350m) Tom Sestito ($0.750m) / Dale Weise ($0.750m) / DEFENSEMEN Dan Hamhuis ($4.500m) / Kevin Bieksa ($4.600m) Alexander Edler ($5.000m) / Jason Garrison ($4.600m) Brenden Dillon ($0.900m) / Frank Corrado ($0.599m) Beast defense pairing in the future. ken kaniff
I'm kind of assuming on some of these players for example, Kassian, Schroeder have to play good to earn those contracts. I'm expecting a average performance for them to earn those contracts.
