They see it on the ice too, they do nothing deliberately. I mean, for years they deliberately ignored obstruction fouls (hooking, holding, interference), I dunno why to some it would seem farfetched they're just ignoring diving too. We know already if they consistently called every penalty that happened on the ice there'd never be 5 on 5. That's what happens when you have too many rules, especially discretionary rules. Throwing challenges at this is futile, too. But rest assured when diving finally is on their proverbial "nanny radar" (atm it's head shots, hits from behind, etc.), it'll be just as embellished in punishment as the diving is, and as overblown as their attempts to add "obstruction" to the names of the types of penalties to make it seem as if that was even necessary to enforce rules they were deliberately ignoring for years.
