I never equated a team's success or talent to the noise level in the crowd, only pointed out that various athletes have said they get energized by a loud crowd. If you don't like that, take it up with them.

Your kidding right?

Go to a game in Chicago and listen to the goal horn and the roar after a goal.

Listen to the humm of the crowd in Montreal.

Its false economy in New York, Toronto and to an extent here. The crowd comes off as arrogant because we haven't won anything really. And a few too many Bronx cheers, bit too much heckling is a bad thing. But hell, its going to the game! Cheers as much as you want!
