Hodgson bumped of top 6 centre minutes by Ennis and Girgensons

The thread isn't so much erroneous as it is late to the game.

In case anyone has missed the rumour - Sabres are apparently in "re-building" mode and months ago switched to spreading out what offensive threats the team does have. That meant while Ennis/Stafford have been the only consistent duet, everyone else has played with a constantly changing assortment of linemates, getting a mixed range of ice time game-to-game, and being tried out in different positions.

Hodgson being tried off center is no different than Kesler's stretch this season pulling the same wing duty. Teams struggle, injury bugs hit, lines are changed, guys are shuffled around, and some things stick while others don't. Go figure.

The article is about the Sabres continuing to try different things generally and Hodgson's continuing positive team attitude specifically. Only petty disgruntled Canuck fans would try to use it as the basis for bashing the guy.

...and best game since mid-November!? We thought we had problems lol.

What is actually funny is what a fool you make of yourself laughing at Hodgson despite how he's presently only 1 point back of Kesler and 6 back of Henrik with hundreds fewer minutes played.

Yes, the Canucks do have problems. When both the top centers (Ennis and Hodgson) on the worst team in the NHL have more goals than both Sedins, the Canucks have some real problems - of which one is the mentality of certain fans.

Love it how people label you as a Codylover just because you're not bashing the guy blindly... He's a good player, can we just let him go please?
