Their best chance to win another cup with them is now. I think they would roll the dice 1. Overpayment. Giving up your 2 of your best prospects and a 1st rd pick in a strong draft year is ludicrous. Detroit hardly trades it's prospects. Also Mantha at 6'5 is a goal scoring machine. Very rare. 2. Cap hit. Kessel comes in at a pricey 8 mill cap hit. He's not worth that much. 3. Fit.
