I don't understand the Bettman hate, he's just doing what the owners tell him to do, otherwise he'd have been fired a long time ago. Things wouldn't change if we got a new commissioner.

That is why he is hated, he isn't doing his job, his job isn't to do what the owners want, his job is to protect the game FROM the owners or at least give the illusion he is doing so.
